I wouldn’t bother with the later inlet plenum/cover. Go for ITB’s and a standalone ECU. They will give you way more power. Autofficina just did one in a 328 engined Dino. The GTS also had a higher compression ratio. Changing the wheels/tyres also makes a big difference. As for the interior, was there a sandstorm in Surrey? I must have missed it 😂😂😂

I said later plenum, in reality, it's a custom job with throttle bodies that QV are doing. Haha I know it's pretty bad in there. It's not long till Italian car day at Brooklands to get it sorted either! Are you going this year?

@@Tonygarageuk I’m out of the country unfortunately but might make the Easter meet next weekend, although I’ll just be back from the states. Mine is off for PPF next after a bare metal front end paint late last year. 👍

Unassisted steering is good for your arms, I suppose 😉 Interesting plans for the car. I’m currently tuning the engine of my 348, with a separate ECU, modified inlet etc., and believe me, it’s a long and expensive process - it’s been going on for more than a year now. Keep in mind also, with this kind of tuning, you need a dyno at your disposal, so you can continuously check and tweak, otherwise any gain will be just in your imagination (like the air filter people claiming you get 5hp extra, while it’s more like 1 or 2, if you’re lucky). Personally, I’d invest in getting the car in a nice shape first. Check out the corrosion, replace parts that have perished. Then you get to know the car better and can be assured everything is solid, before you undertake big and expensive modifications.

Thanks agreed. I'm holding off with engine stuff, as I've been advised to get ECU done at the same time as changing plenum & exhaust manifold. So I'm just lowering it 25mm with a skid plate in the next couple weeks, and then focusing on getting it in better shape .

@@Tonygarageuk sounds good, I can highly recommend the skid plates Hill Engineering makes, they are excellent - but likely those are the ones you're looking at already

Your 1/4 mile target should be 12.6s at 115mph which is exactly what a Ferrari 360 will run at best. 😎👍
