Feelings getting hurt lol. I would love to see Leeds and Ipswich to go up in the autos. Partly because I'm a Leeds fan and i also think Ipswich deserve it but mostly because we all have had to put up with Leicester fans banging on about how easy it was and how they will stroll to the biggest points total ever. They are now doubting if they will make the autos. They might well win the league but watching the bedwetting has been fun. I think it will be Leeds 1st then alas Leicester 2nd.

Bloody Norwich, I feel that happening for Ipswich as well. I can’t argue against that logic of the extra game, 1 point difference along with goal difference being the weight that swings the margins at the end. It’s going to be sooo close. Excellent work with the video production Ben - this is a real step up! I wish I had your confidence though about Argyle’s finishing position. The wheels seem to have well and truly come off our season and last weekend’s game against Preston saw quite a large contingent of fans chanting against Foster. It was embarrassing and demoralising and bearing in mind your theory about chaos etc I’m worried if this continues, then we won’t escape the drop. Hope you’re right and I’m wrong though - keep up the great work!

Just checked my August predictions on your vid and i had Norwich in place of your lot as 2nd, had a feeling now for weeks your gonna meet them in the playoffs im afraid, especially with my lot having the cup to distract us (lovely distraction though it is😂) so i think well finish below the Canaries and Hull, while sadly Lestuh and Leeds will eventually pull away a little from yourselves and Saints I had Rotherham bottom with Stoke and Blackburn going with them, think the Potters have enough quality to dig themselves out, however i fear your right about Rovers and theyre doomed, alongside Huddersfield for me too.

Rotherham getting relegated is probably the only certainty. As I recall, Burnley and Sheffield United had far more points than the teams that finished in the play-off spots. This season's title race and relegation battles are unlikely to be sorted until the last game of the season. I think Leeds will win the title; they've been consistent throughout the season and haven't dropped in form to the same extent as their closest rivals. It wasn't too long ago that Leicester looked uncatchable. The Championship is football's equivalent of snakes and ladders.

Great video as others have said! I happen to agree with most of your predictions too, although personally I think Coventry sneak into the playoffs ahead of Norwich. Blackburn to go down is a bold shout, but I think anyone in the bottom 3 is a bold shout it's that tight, so many reasons for each club. Despite being involved at the bottom end of the league, it's going to be a really interesting watch as a fan of the championship this year!

You are the only football related channel I watch Ben. You are incredibly unbiased (in my opinion) and do a great job of appeasing most supporters, you just offer a fair and good view. On that, I really hope you're right about us (Birmingham) but I just don't know, once I see how the players react to Gary Rowett as interim against QPR I will have a better idea. If we win that, I think we go on to stay up, if we draw it, I think it's still up in the air and if we lose another 6 pointer, I fear that it may finally be the season that we go but I'm praying that it doesn't end like this!

It’s make or break for us Ben! Looked all but safe after those away wins at Swansea and Middlesbrough but ever since we lost at home to Ipswich and away to Sheffield Wednesday, and the bottom sides closed right up on us, it’s right back on us again! Preston was a horrible one to take, fans are really unhappy with Foster, he’s under so much pressure, he’s got to turn it around unless we sack him now and bring Neil Warnock in for the rest of the season! Norwich away first and that’ll be a tough one, but I’m hoping and praying that the boys will do it for us in this run in! Need at least Two Wins and all the rest draws and we should be fine, no matter where it is in the table! Going to be a massive April coming! #COYG💚💪

As a Cov fan I have to say, 100% agree with you putting us in 7th. We're currently in a transitional season with all the new players but I feel we are missing a few things to gives us that extra push for the playoffs and the fact we have made it to the FA cup semi final against united will be massive for the squad. I guess its a matter of priorities, if we miraculously get to the final that puts us in an awkward position as the playoff final is literally the next day (the dates would probs change anyway). In all honesty I don't mind missing out this year, as I said, I see it as our rebuild season. I think next season though we should deffo be aiming for promotion again.

This Championship season very much reminds me of the old `First Division` Championship race of 1971/72 (I was around back then, I'm 68). There were Four of them in it in the last dozen weeks. One had been long time front-runner who stumbled a bit. Another had a run of 13 wins and one draw in the latter stages. It went right to the wire and three could win when very final matches were played. Three of the Four finished level with 57 points (Only Two for a win back then) They were only separated by Goal Average as it was calculated back then. The other team just got it with 58 points. Greatest finish ever to a season (In my opinion) This Championship season is closely mirroring it.

Very professional and excellently made video, predictions seemed extremely logical but we all know football can swing and change at any time (we all thought Leicester would finish top) I’m a Southampton fan, after a very strong run we had a dip in form and although 2 games in hand it’s going to be tough to get an automatic. Ipswich had a bad run where they weren’t winning but still managed draws and the momentum is with them so I could see it being close but getting automatics with Leicester dropping into 3rd. As for the bottom 3 it can be any of those teams, think Wednesday could go down (I hope not) but their terrible goal difference is a problem. Stoke will either crash and burn into relegation or win and end up 18th or 19th and i definitely think Huddersfield will also go down as well. Either way it’s been an exciting championship season, one of the best for a long time be very interested to see the final table and how close we all were. Btw I liked video and subscribed, keep these video’s coming it really was a joy to watch.

Great video. As a Norwich fan, yes, we are in the box seat as regards the last playoff spot. However, we've gotta go to Leicester and get summat (which we probably won't). we've got Ipswich at Carrow Road, and of course, it's always nice to beat that lot from down the A140. The worry to me is Preston at Deepdale and Sheffield Wednesday away because Wednesday has been in a semi decent run of form, and Preston on their turf are tricky. So that is the negatives.. Positives are that we've got Josh Sargent in form and scoring for fun, we've got Sara, Nunez, and Sainz as a supply route. Ashley Barnes is helping out scoring, too. So I think we'll make playoffs just.. by the skin of our pants 👖

Title - Leeds Autos - Leicester Playoffs - Ipswich, So'ton, Norwich, WBA (Ipswich to win) Relegated - Rotherham, Blackburn, Plymouth As you say it's so tight and so much could change. I feel Birmingham and Huddersfield always manage to get out of it. So then it's between Wednesday, Plymouth, Blackburn, Stoke and QPR to go down. QPR look competitive no way they go down. The rest will all come down to the head to heads in the remaining 8 games... I hope we (SWFC) don't go down I enjoy your content 😄

As a Cov fan i think we'll just miss out, only because of the FA Cup. We're two short of our full strength team and one in particular has been the bright spark of the season for us. I'd love to be wrong and we nick 6th but this season has always been a rebuild after last and the fact we're even talking about two seasons in the play offs, shows just how far we've come compared to the dark days of L2 7 years ago. Personally I think now that they've lost the top spot, Leicester will find it hard to regain it and as much as it pains me (I've alot of Leeds fans as friends), I think they'll go up as champions. I certainly don't want to bet on who's going up from the play offs, but my gut says we'll be seeing Southampton in the Championship for another season (no hate, just a gut feeling). Also I know its random but fair play to the Rotherham fans who travelled to Cov a few weeks ago, midweek in early March took a drumming and stayed until the end. Considering the season they've had, huge props.

I completely agree with you Ben. I've felt we're destined for 3rd place ever since we lost at Cardiff. Leeds look unstoppable and are probably heading for the title. Yes Leicester are wobbling but with that game in hand and goal difference I can't see us making up enough ground. It's going to be Norwich in the playoffs you just know it! As an Ipswich fan, I unfortunately agree with your prediction. We’re doing unfathomable things after promotion but the form we need is just relentless. Hope I’m wrong, and I was wrong last season when I thought we were out in February. Either way an amazing season and the best top four teams ever in my opinion. Fair play to Leicester, Leeds and Southampton, money aside, the seasons they’re having is incredible also.

I think you've got more confidence in us (Plymouth) surviving than our fans have, myself included 😂 Bar a couple of games weve been awful since Foster has come in. And we arent sitting in a position where we can afford to be awful, we still need to pick up points! Can see all 3 races (top 2, play offs, relegation) going down to the wire. I've a feeling Leicester will miss out with their off field troubles being a distraction. In terms of relegation, I just don't know. Fear for Blackburn the most, Plymouth isn't a happy place to be currently, Huddersfield having the 2nd least number of wins. Our run in isn't bad compared to others, I just hope it doesn't come down to GD.

Got to be concerned about Norwich, 2nd most inform team in the league over the past few months, and Rowe coming back as well. That Sainz and Sara combination looks a handful. A team to avoid I feel, however its the Championship.

Agree with your top 6, in that order too. I think it'll be a Norwich v Southampton final and I really can't call that. Can't say I fear them, just comes down to who has the minerals on the day (Norwich fan)

I dunno Ben, 2024 form and Leicester’s history of bottling it in the final weeks of the last few seasons tells me that Ipswich could well leapfrog into second. Can’t disagree with the rest of your analysis, but something tells me that Birmingham just might be one of the relegated three. The disastrous foray with Rooney, but even the results after him have never really kicked on. Their fans must be nervously looking over their shoulder now.
