Trunks was one of those characters that got the absolute MOST out of the 1.38 patch a new fullscreen normal in the form of 3M a command grab variant of his lvl3 super with TEN FRAMES OF STARTUP he is literally regarded as The Drink of all DBFZ and it’s crazy😭😭

Dude, thanks for the video, very good, but here's some feedback, put the time stamps on the characters, or at least a time stamp referring to the tier. And when you talk about a character, put the mouse over it, or something like that, so that those who skip the video know which character you're talking about. It just sucks *how* he became top tier. Trunks did NOT need that fast 5S, new 3M, fast level 3 *or* the fast shining slashes. Getting to use every flip in the air was a good change, though.

@ You're right about the auto-combo, but I think the sword attacks being ki blast invulnerable is a very negligible strength. We only really start thinking about it when talking about the seriously broken stuff.

I have no clue if it’ll ever happen, but imo yamcha can totally become a lab monster; in a game where his only real struggle(very real btw) is that neutral absolutely sucks ass, it can be almost entirely mitigated by an assist and then he’s in. Great oki, good mixups(some hard to read cause they start off screen), annoying resets, and easy to execute TOD. He’s really better than people think especially given his cancelable(and five frame invul 5h) he was already my goat.

Forgot to mention that his 5m is 0 on block and given it’s invincibility or a setup to ignore how slow it is, it can also act as a way to reset pressure

Nah, Cooler being in B is actually insane. Dude is easily at the top of A tier or low S tier at least. Same with Tien. Blue Goku, Teen Gohan, Z Broly, Hit, and Cell should be around A tier as well

I agree a lot with this list. Only one that surprises me is Ssjku being better than Blueku and Cell.

im not a blueku player so i cant say why he's that low on the tier list, however, I can say that cell is down there because his ex perfect attack was nerfed. That was the ONLY thing than anywhere near top 5. Janemba can get EVEN BETTER mix that cell does without spending any extra meter or assists, so if u want a character like cell with lvl 3 mix, go for him. He doesn't have the op reversal anymore, which hurt him a lot, and he got almost nothing in return for the nerf. Ssjku is that high because he just has everything. Its not on the same level as other characters, but he has every tool. Cell and blueku from what I know don't have the same luxury.

Cooler pairs well with any character, but Tien, SSJ Vegeta, Baby, and barrier assists work especially well for him

SSJ4 is too low (his normals, double dash, 236X) imo but other than that, this list seems pretty spot on. I think this is a fun version of the game *when I'm not fighting Vegito ;(

Fully agree with everything in this list. Also, EX saibaman remains active on screen even if you lv3 vs nappa. So right after you lv3 you can immediately get hit by the stray saibaman. WHO THOUGHT THAT IS OK? Absolutely broken character.
