I’m so happy for you! My biggest AEP was 2018 when one of the plans here completely crushed all the other carriers in the area. I wrote about 120 apps just in AEP 🤩 My payment at the beginning of 2019 was about 45k!!! Girl, then the renewals hit in 2020 💰 💰 💰 This AEP looks soooo different bc of the virus so stay in there.

I did prelicensure study with Xcel and also have access to Kaplan but Xcel seemed better for me. It was a lot of reading but I like reading better than brief summaries, to help the information stick and make sense. I have no idea where to start independently.

I was going to school to become an RN when covid hit and I decided it wasn’t worth the risk. This would be a great way for me to still be able to help people but not actually have to put myself at risk working in a petrify dish aka the hospital. I’m excited to start this journey. I sounds like I would literally be getting paid to explain the benefits of Medicare to people and enroll them in the policy.

Caveat about Advantage renewals: you client has to sign up with the same carrier for an Advantage plan every year or else you lose the renewals. Supplement clients aren't likely to change from year to year.

Medicare does have charge backs the client must stay on your books for 3-6 months depends on the insurance company if they leave you will get a charge back.

Good morning. To add to your company have you looked into being a mobile/virtual notary. From what I hear, you can earn money doing that. Its appears to be basically going over documents when you close on home (amongst other things). I remember having someone coming to my home to sign those documents not realizing that is the business.

This type of business is a numbers game. I believe people quit too early. My first 2 weeks I made 2 sales I think it was but i just kept going. God knows I don't want to go back to nursing Lol. Thank you! You should try Medicare sales maybe you will enjoy that more then life insurance sales.
