Excellent, heard Adam at a Houston conference and he was just as inspiring. It has been said that Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again but expecting different results. Turning that around; Success is finding something that works and replicating it over and over again as much as possible. As Dave has said before one mistake he made early on was "changing or tinkering with the system." Unfortunately due to my advanced age and declining health my mind is writing checks my body can't cash; but yet and still, I believe I can still be successful using this system that Dave and his crew have put together. As Nike's motto says, "Just Do It"

Dave I’m curious why you did go the agency route vs renewal income from Medicare or other products? I’m glad you did for sure!
@TheDIGAgency3 жыл бұрын
I like teaching a lot, and I liked the idea of working from home. I also felt I'd be more effective teaching considering my final expense sales experience, than starting from scratch with a new product. I'm glad I ended up building an agency over selling; for me, it's much less stressful, more rewarding, and I'm around my family a lot more.

I’d like to clarify on that. A Medicare Agent can NOT switch and individual that currently has a Medicare Supplement to a Medicare Advantage outside of Medicare Open Enrollment unless they qualify for an SEP. Obviously, if you’re aging into Medicare that’s a different story.

If they are Dual eligible how do you write them on final expense because you can had an adverse effect on their Medicaid covrage
@TheDIGAgency4 жыл бұрын
Medicaid cares only if the recipient's cash and cash equivalent balance exceeds $2,000 (this may vary between states). When writing final expense, this rarely becomes an issue for 10 to 20 years, as most Medicaid recipients end the month on zero. Worst case, you can assign ownership of the life insurance policy to a loved one, which moves the cash value ownership to the owner while keeping the Medicaid recipient insured. I’m going to start selling MAPD in Memphis Tennessee staring the first of the year, I was told that Tennessee is the best place for selling year around being a 5 star market, Dave What’s your thoughts on that? Also I’m about 8 Hours away so it’s going to be a grind but last year I worked Detroit all year which is a 4 hour drive.
@mlwebb795 жыл бұрын
Not dave obviously, but I did previously live in the Memphis metro area. Shelby county is one of the poorest counties in America, so yes Memphis has always been a good MA market. Memphis is competitive but good for MA.
@snapgintz99125 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately Lennell that will no longer be true. In 2020 your 5star plans in Shelby County have dropped to 4.5stars. Still lots of great opportunities. 5 Years Medicare Experience. Best of luck, you’ll love how rewarding this business is helping people.

Dave, the description of the video says "How". I was actually disappointed that he never actually revealed how he actually sells that amount, other than to his FE book of business. He hinted to the fact that there was more to it, but that he didn't disclose the how, was misleading.
@TheDIGAgency3 жыл бұрын
I can't remember if this was in the video or if Adam told me this separately. Adam buys 50 to 60 direct mail leads weekly. He has an appointment setter who sets around 30 appointments from 8AM to 4PM on the hour. His appointment setter lightly qualifies the lead before setting. Adam runs the appointment the next day and closes it before moving to the next, writing 15+ policies weekly. Basically, he rinses and repeats.
