Brazil is very diverse indeed, we have people of all colours. And the best thing is that we don't separate ourselves into groups like the USA does. We don't say "I'm German Brazilian", "I'm African Brazilian", or "I'm Japanese Brazilian", etc... we are all just Brazilians.

As a Brazilian who also lived abroad for 25yrs and came back to Brazil, I say please stay there. Visit your family and friends, but please do not move back. @@ashleykourtney4098 It was every bit as great as it is now, but a bit rough around the edges. Even though we had the internet, it wasn't quite what it is now. Thus, we arrived knowing very little about the place, which kept it interesting. There were no message boards or Facebook to ask questions or Google Streetview to check out places beforehand. Everything we saw, we saw for the first time. The good thing about Brazil is, there's so much more to see and experience than you think. You'll never be prepared for it all. How long are you staying?
