4:40 | Hi Scotty! From everything that I've seen & read, only those with long-term retirement Visa's can open a Thai bank account. DTV holders only have to provide a "recent" personal bank statement showing an equivalent to ฿500k (~$15k) along with proof of employment or "freelancer" status.
