Micah, Billy here! Formerly "Backroads and Byways." I'm on the carnivore diet. I'm down 20 pounds in about 4 weeks. I eat eggs, beef, pork, chicken, fish, cottage cheese, cheeses, smoked cream cheese and I drink a few cups of coffee a day. I also drink lots of water. Increased water intake is important, especially so your plumbing doesn't get backed up.

I discovered the electrolytes two years ago. No more cramping legs. I have been carnivore a couple months now. It has helped my arthritis pain a great deal. Blessings to you and your family. I lived in Silver Point in Putnam County for 25 years. Your area is very beautiful. I always enjoyed going there. We had a mare bred to a stallion there.

Micah your KZbin channel has taken a new turn ! You’re the next Carnivore star and you’re going to get a lot more views and subscribers . I have been Carnivore for almost 10 months now. Here’s what I have experienced physically , down 55 lbs and 4 pants sizes , no more infusions every 8 weeks in Nashville that cost almost 8k each time for Rheumatoid Arthritis , A1C last check was 5.1 , all blood work within acceptable ranges , lower bowel issues gone , skin issues / skin tags going away , BP 125 / 72 ,no more PVC,s and I have a Bovine Aortic valve and two stents. My mental clarity is so much better and I actually to get things done now instead of procrastinating and energy is so much better. However my weight lost has stalled but I’m also not gaining weight .I need to do more intermittent fasting and the weight lost will reappear. I drink a 12 oz coffee every morning with a pinch of pink salt , a hunk of Irish butter and a drop or two of Iodine , put it in a blender for a few seconds and it’s so damn good, try it . Go make North Hardy’s Chapel proud !

For those of us who work for a living more salt is on the menu. You all eat more naturally than most already but if you look at everything you buy or make to eat it already includes salt. When on the carnivore diet you have to eat salt to taste. Your body will tell you how much.

My favorite thing to eat on carnivore is chunked up stew meat in the crock pot with butter, cream cheese, bone broth and salt. My whole is on it, it’s tougher with kids but they are dealing with it and admit they feel better and even recover faster after a long outing on the mound pitching. Arm recovery is almost 100% overnight, by the second morning they feel great. We all just feel better. We ate “clean” before, hunting, fishing and garden what we could and sourcing quality when we couldn’t grow/hunt our own. We raise chickens for eggs and a chore fkr the kids lol. Even still with cutting out the carbs and fruits and “veggies”. We still have milk and other meats like seafood but mainly beef. Oh ground beef bowls are good too. Fasting is another great thing to get into, doing it right is key though. I recommend starting a one day by eating dinner and going to bed, don’t eat breakfast or lunch but have a good dinner. See how you do. Then try a 3 day fast. I usually do a 1 day fast and instead of eating a big dinner I’ll have a small dinner then won’t eat again till dinner 3 days later. My protocol is going to be 2, 3-7 day fasts a year. I haven’t gone past 3 days I could’ve missed the dinner I ate and maybe longer but. Was a holiday and we had a big family gathering so not eating would’ve been awkward. Enjoy the health and stick to it it’s worth it. Also funny thing I’m hearing is folks who smoke and or drink are quitting some because they’ve been trying and for some reason going carnivore helped them get it done and others just because they stop feeding the urge. I wonder if being addicted to carbs causes you to get addicted to other things. I don’t smoke but I drank not a problem drinker but I haven’t had a drink/beer in a while and the last one I had was my buddy’s bday party I had one with him for his 50th. I’m not against drinking a beer I just haven’t felt the urge for one. The focus too, It’s like another gear in your head. One thing to be aware of is oxalate dumping from not eating oxalates we didn’t experience it but have heard about it.

Another thing you can do is have cream in your coffee for breakfast and don't eat until lunch. You'll still have heaps of energy but you'll be running on body fat in the morning. If you put milk in your coffee you'll be hungry by 10 because of the carbs in milk so try to avoid that if you can. Good luck you'll be able to see your feet in no time 😉

I was going to say that milk was meant to fatten a hundred plus pound baby calf what do you think it's doing to you but you addressed it at the end lol. Yeah that’s what you say but “30 day Carnivore DIET” is indicative of you going back to your old eating habits after 30 days??? Losing weight/choosing to live a healthy lifestyle has to be a lifestyle change; not diet based. The problem is usually our eating habits, how we eat and LASTLY what we eat. Diets usually have no longevity. Temporary fixes are just that ; temporary. Lifestyle change is where the correction lies and where you will find long lasting results.

skip the milk and you probably would have lost 20 lbs. keep your carbs to under 20 grams a day, that way you can use seasonings and condiments for variety. EVERYONE wants to cheat on keto/carnivore but it does not work unless ALLLLLL sugar and carbs are gone. add greens and veggies after the first week as long as you stick too less then 20 grams of carbs. excess fat on the body is the main culprit of most peoples aches and pains but everyone wants to blame something else instead of just loosing the weight.

Great stuff 👍 try it. If it has a positive impact for you that's great 👍 I'm on another diet myself, this is a bit long winded but, I personally have a condition called Myalgic encephalomyelitis (I dare you to say that three times backwards😂) otherwise known as chronic fatigue syndrome which is a pain, especially if you're highly self motivated and want to do a million things a day😂 your body literally just switches your muscles off😂😬 it's infuriating 🤦after belting my head against a wall with medical professionals in New Zealand whose answers ranged from "it's psychosomatic and all in your head" to " there's nothing you can do about it, tough luck chump" I decided they'd all been to med school to eat Thier lunch and learn how to stick a bandaid on a paper cut and started to research and experiment myself, and too pray about it. I finally with the Lord's guidance hit on the restrictive carbohydrate ketogenic diet although at the time I didn't actually realize it had a label. I dropped coffee😂 tea, artificial sweeteners and started drinking water and carbonated water with nothing in it, unsweetened almond milk and MCT powder ( micronutrients dirived from coconuts and dried into a powder) every two days, I dropped all root vegetables and fruits and fruit juices and all carb rich seeds like corn, wheat, barley, rice, rye, oats and sorghum and soy products and started eating red meat again after twenty years. I'm better, I'm not cured but I don't get massive spikes where I flatten out for two days and can barely get out of bed either. I don't have panic attacks anymore which is nearly constant with CFS and it's made a massive positive impact on my condition. Sadly, a senior medical professionals daughter has contracted CFS so finally the NZ medical professionals are starting to take it seriously as a debilitating condition and research it. I'll take a damn horse pill up the nose to get rid of it if that's what they come up with 😂

*HERE IS THE REASON:* *Your body is converting all of that meat into sugar for your cells to burn. And worse...you are eating 3 times a day.* Basically...every time you eat those large plates of meat, you are spiking your insulin response from your body.......and it is impossible to lose weight in the presence of insulin. You are eating 3 times a day....which means just when your insulin levels get low enough for you to start burning stored fat...you spike it again. SUGGESTION: Go as long as you can through your day WITHOUT eating, and then BREAK~THE~FASTING (breakfast) within a 6 hour window. Eating within a 4-6 hr window leaves far more hrs out of every day for your body to burn stored fat. It's what our bodies are designed to do....go long periods without food, and then store fat when there are times of excess. Just don't give those times of excess too often, and you will remain your sexy young self. *Your body does not want to lose weight. You are an active person, and despite the GQ magazines saying otherwise...you are normal. Focus on the health, not the weight loss. Eat those mash potatos every now and then. Enjoy a piece of chocolate once in a while.* NOW GO PLANT THEM TATERS!

Everything in moderation my good man. Instead of focusing on what you eat try just eating a bit less and run a bit on the hungry side, and enjoy all Whole Foods. Sugar, white flour, and high fructose drinks stay away from. Best of luck with your journey.

Thanks for the tips! I’ll probably steer clear of grains and carbs for now!
It’s so very right! I was already carnivore at heart before I made this decision…… I feel so much better!

Hello, I want to say something and I hope you understand, the reason you are not losing any weight is because you are eating to much meat, I have lost from 245 lbs down to 204 in about 2 and 1/2 months and I cut down on meat and eat more vegetables.be bless.

Thanks! Here’s the thing,…… I’m less concerned about losing weight, than anything else really………. I’m receiving so much more energy now, I couldn’t be happier!
