Great video man. Just as an FYI on fishing gear, you can actually be very cheesy and only bring the functional part of the SV-98 into raid (i.e. no stock, heat ribbon or anything else.) Fits into a backpack nicely then.

Dude those 2 deaths trynna stash the magazine pissed me off so much. And its not because you couldnt get him or you lost the magazine or you lost the sv98. ITS BECAUSE THERE WAS A LACK OF PRIORITIZING SURVIVAL OVER KILLING. Its not just a "sniper mindset", its a survival mindset. Too many people focus on peeking enemies that are already looking at them, and trying to win that stupid engagement. Its a shame cuz if this "protagonist" plague wasnt a thing amongst gamers, tarkov would have so much more interesting firefights. Kudos ofc ramen, this was a cool video and you DID get out of that mindset, but goddamn is it a shame to see every single time. (as i said cuz its a plague)

for whatever reason, early wipe this time had more goons spawning. I got them spawning on custom, woods and shoreline all in a matter of 4 days span

I can really relate to the Shoreline raid with the SV-98, for some reason every first shot from every mag for me is always just barely off somehow and I miss. Then every other shot is right on point..

it feels like sniping is now a lot harder because of partisan, you can't sit in the same place too long or he comes to hunt you down. I haven't really tried it yet but I did run into Partisan twice, once I killed him inside dorms, he was creeping up the stairs.. and once he was just behind me when I was healing behind a rock and he killed me.

Were you not playing with Scav? Because Reserve provide an insane amount of AK rounds and scavs have plenty of 7.62 PS ammo for a SKS for a sniper build...

Go to 29:25 and turn it to .25 playback speed, and make sure you're in the highest video resolution. This is a perfect example of how bad the desync in this game is. At that distance there should be no bullet travel time. Where your crosshair is should be where the bullet lands and instantly after you pull the trigger. This guy's head wasn't even showing when Ramen fired and he got the headshot because the guy was pressing the keyboard directional to move into where the shot was going to land lol. Okay edit - watched it pausing each frame. Hard to tell because of the blurred screen and the weather, but he might actually have hit a sliver of his head poking out from the van. Desync is still bad though... so I'm not deleting this comment. :)

This wipe is a catastrophe for anyone not playing Arena to cheese the 1-15 grind. If they pay $30 they can just level up in a quicker and less annoying way, and then proceed to stat check anyone who didn't buy Arena by being able to field flea market gear immediately with millions of roubles they grinded up with no risk. It's unfair.
