This set destroyed me financially when it first came out. This set was so heavily concentrated on the mythics that nearly every rare was a bulk rare. I remember opening a box where there was only 1 mythic (Dark Confidant) and 23 bulk rares.

I have never opened a Masters box, hoping to make this year my first. I played from Ice Age through the end of the Urza block, got back in for Mirrodin block, then sold all of my stuff(which I completely hate myself for now). Then got back in playing commander during AFR when a friend bought me a commander precon for my birthday. I actually had never opened a box of my own until Commander Legends. I would love a chance to open an older Masters box.

I have fond memories of the set because I miss "regular" masters sets even though Ultimate and Double are better, but it was not the best designed of them. Always fun to watch.

If we're in the same break and I get smoked and you get all the pulls, I won't be bitter in the slightest, part of the game! Got worried when I saw the title that everyone got hammered or something. But then you said it was because of the packs 😆 Honestly watching this was like watching a brand new set for me. I had zero idea what the vast majority of cards even were. I do know Emarkul though, and never seen anyone so bummed to get one! Yes, I understand why, but the tone made me laugh. "I shuffled the packs!" Everyone knows you ain't about funny business. It was a break, you announced from the start you had a spot, and you did well!

The box packs were a cool idea and I like that they tried to mix it up, but the classic packs are so iconic... I don't know if I speak for the rest of the community, but I for one am already worried how much I'm going to spend on 2XM22 🤣

I believe you are incorrect in your statement of never opening a full box on the channel...I believe it was one of ur earlier ones and one of the first ones I watched on this channel... I remember you mentioning that these boxes weren't worth cracking because the u have to pull the right mythics and enough fetches which u rarely ever do..I may be confused with another channel cuz I've seen alot of M15 being cracked since it first came out but I'm pretty sure it was your channel just because you were the first person I've watched which said boxes like these and eternal were too expensive for what's in it

Seems like repacks to me.. u didn't get a single good rare or mythic.

We have the 5th, 10th and 12th most expensive mythics. Box did fine there. Got 2 of the 3rd most expensive rare. Unfortunately, lost too many coin flips. Nothing about this box was repacked. It just wasn't a strong box.
