Yup. The only times i have lost against the first boss is when i picked Random Deck, they are truly random (with a bit of a forced curve so that you don't get screwed)

For more average players like myself, a relatively easy/safe strategy I found for beating heroic versions is to do the following: - Get Anomaly mode "All spells cost (2) less" - Select Paladin with any ability and the "Old Heroes" deck. - Mulligan/draw until you get that card in your hand as early in each fight as possible - If necessary, play at least one creature and wait one turn so it can attack - Sound the bells until the attack is the same as the boss' HP, then go face. You just need to watch out for taunts, spells/wipes, and secrets really. Having more monsters on the board or charge minions helps, as well as multiple copies of sound the bells (Holy Infusions reward set). Hope this helps people who might be stuck! EDIT: I just realized Trump already uploaded a similar video to this, strategy, but I still want to throw it out there that you can use anomaly mode to get the same effect!

Dancing Deryl's hero power is choose a minion, resummon it when it dies. It's ancestral spirit which isn't very good with his murlocs. He does have cards such as Sylvanas though.
