When they say attack it's midsection I believe they mean it's chest, between it's front arms. Lagiacrus used to be quite weak there and it was shaped somewhat similar to Fatalis. Edit: 24:45 or it's belly when it stands up

Wow. I had never seen Fatalis before - I think it was originally from MH 1 or 2. Super cool looking! Classical black flame breathing dragon....reminds me of Kalameet I guess. Definitely some higher defense and fire resistance would help....

Beating Dawn's Triumph (half hp Alatreon) unlocks the Fatalis quest that's why you can fight him now.

Dust of life gives to slow gradual healing right? Or is that life crystals? Sometimes those are handy to pop as you enter batter. Same with might and armor seeds. Wise use of the ballista, cannon and dragonator especially would help massively also. If you hunt out near the cannonballs you could pick one up the instant he starts an attack that you know won't hit you and walk it to the cannon...of course he would have to be in the right spot to get hit...the ballista is a little easier since you can load multiple ballistas at once, but you have to allow time to mount and dismount the machine.... The dragonator....typically that thing comes online once every 15 or 20 minutes - whenever the message announces that it's ready to fire, lure Fatalis in front of it and then hit the lever or whatever. It may even be available from the start of the match? Once you get used to using it, usually it's best to get a hit as quick as you can so that you start the countdown to the next dragonator use right away. Or course, this is all based on past experiences.

Wait was there a Dragonator? I thought they said in the cutscene that the dragonator cannot be used due to the debris blocking its path.

Finally all caught up nice but you don’t have to go for the kill if you don’t want to but if you do you’ll get the most op armor in the game and weapons too

Oh I will keep trying don't worry. It is just going to take a lot of grinding sadly so don't expect it to happen soon. Also congrats on soloing Alatreon, Fatalis, and Kulve solo just before the New Year.
