I love to see the Christmas décor! It’s been a very long time that I haven’t seen how Christmas is being celebrated in the Philippines! BALIKBAYAN. Balik (return or go back) and Bayan (Country, Hometown). Hence someone who returns to his homeland is called a Balikbayan. The concept of the balikbayan box is derived from the days when you see OFWs returning home with baggages mostly boxes.
