That's awesome! I gave my daughter a '88 5.0 AOD when she was 16. She drove it through high school. She is 18 now, graduated last year, and still drives it every day. She won a car show last summer, first place in her class. It's great to see youth interested in these cars, especially you young ladies. Enjoy it!

1. Great to see a new generation using these great cars 2. See if you can take a safety course or take the car past its limits in a safe environment so you know what you can and can’t do in a front heavy car without modern safety features 3. There will probably be a few more things to fix here and there are some items just wear over time, don’t get discouraged 4. Enjoy and keep for another 37 years

You're the same age as my youngest daughter and it's great to see you embracing the love of these cars. I've taught my daughter some over the years between other cars in our family and on my 88 GT Vert. She isn't as involved as she used to be and I really enjoyed sharing the teaching moments with her. I hope you continue on your Dad's channel because it is very import to be able to inspire people your age to get their hands dirty and learn to appreciate working on older cars, let alone our beloved foxes. Your daughter is a natural on camera Matt. Having FoxResto Matt "supervise" the fuel pump fix is more than most 17 year old girls have ever done to their car and/or will do to their cars. LOL. Maybe just put same gas in it. (maybe it's outta gas. Mhmm) Most girls her age would be afraid they'd break a nail or get some grease under them. I don't like that part either though. She killed me in the bloopers reel when she said cars are like clothes.

My first Foxbody when I was 17 and about 25ish years ago was an ‘85 gt in the same trim. It had CFI (bleh) but it got me hooked.

A Very Sad video after seein the hose Rotted out Not bothering too check if the fuel pump is good or not yet Wow And the most important Not Replace in the fuel filter As he is No one too look up too Knowing there pieces of Rubber in the filter too As I have kids too and also taught them Never let the fuel garage go below Quarter before fuelin youll burn up the pump And after owning multi fox body Mustangs 85 to 90 you do the job right the first time or don't do it at all And Hope others read this and give thumbs up and Thanks

Fuel filter was replaced already a few weeks prior when we did a tune up on three car. Fuel pump was checked off camera prior to the replacement. This isn’t a how to video or a deep explanation. It’s just a video from a partial day in the life of a 17 year old doing some things to her car. The fuel pump was the original one from 1986, maybe that’s why it went bad?

@@GearHead704 Thx for the Reply as im Lmao Now Yes there is a Major Diffrence between Master Mechanics and Shade tree ones and After seeing a few You say OMG is this Man for Real and laugh Harder and the starter one is one too hold your belly on in cobbled the wires for the starter And pinching penny's on a fuel filter Wow Knowin there's rubber in it too slip threw too possible get too thre injectors As I enjoy both of my 94s as Well both Supercharged 3.8 V6 the other 351 pushed out too 427 And after breaking 2 small block 347s in half that was Enough as the 427 gets its Respect at 874 hp at 7 grand and Both at stock ride height so I can enjoy my coffie and never spill a drop And have heard in Mexico the low riders with the dingle balls and the dog with the blinking eyes in the back window Hummm As it boils down too this the only Diffrence between the Real men is the Price of our toys And Never short cut Good luck and Thx for the laughs

Perfect leant to fix it yourself.. get some tips from other people if needed.but if you learn how to do it yourself you won't need to pay someone 80 plus bucks an hour to fix something you can do yourself
