A Firenze il clima è mite. Eppure, sembra incredibile, ma nella storica ondata di gelo del 1985 la città raggiunse i -23°C !!!! E l'Arno è gelato ! Magari una volta ogni 100 anni, però può succedere ! 😅

Italians do a lot of things well, in my experience Christmas markets isn't one of them. I've been to Verona, Florence and Bolzano and thought they were all pretty poor, Bolzano was ok but nothing to write home about. I was in Rome this year, left on December 8th when they turn the lights on but found no market to speak of, 1 on the way to Stadio Olimpico when going to a Roma Napoli game but it was pretty poor. Still, Italy has so much to offer outside of Christmas markets luckily.
