Awesome video man . I just got one this Christmas for a present because I am into air rifles . They must have changed the Handel to metal again because the got it from Canadian tire as well . The front band on mine is also like a brass. Theses are super fun to shoot and hold days worth of bbs. I am like you and finally got one . To bad I am in my late 30s wish I had one earlier in life .

Just got one yesterday from canadian tire to love so far !!! My handle is in metal i watch a couple of review and look like its ramdom sometime they are in polymar and sometime they are in metal i dont know why

I folded a piece of sheet metal and cut it the same size and shape as the sight. I slip it over the sight and that allows me to shoot acutely over far distance

totally worth it to contact Daisy and buy the adult size stock to put on it, about 1/4" thicker and 2" longer, it shoulders and sites much nicer after.

@@TheMetalRedneck also eBay seller cobalt327 , stronger spring and 7/64" air tube can bump it up to +380 fps. normal stock velocity is 270 to 300 fps, so near 400 is a good jump. Daisy Customer Service: [phone] wade through the selection junk to talk to someone and order the adult RR stock. for me it was 19.99 and 5 bucks shipping, took a week to arrive and it just got here Friday (2 days ago). more fun.. if you're careful with a small hobby hand saw, you can slice the front site right down the center little over 1/32" deep, makes the channel to put in a small fiber-optic dot. took one from a slingshot nipped it in half, did the Daisy RR and the Crosman 760. really easy to pick up that glowing dot up front, its a smaller finer dot than the unit they sell for 10 bucks.

@@TheMetalRedneck since last reply, I learned they REALLY screw us on postage for crossing the US/CAN border! with the stock plunger and spring, FrogLube to the air cylinder walls and bore can increase FPS 10% anyway. stainless tubing 3 mm ID 4 mm OD can make a higher flow air tube, its only a few thousandths larger ID than 7/64". doing both can add 45-50 fps with the stock spring.

Good question. I've seen videos of it taking out bullfrogs but not to sure about rodents.
