Bet this will be the best decision you make Marcea! I’ve used Nutracheck for years. I lost two and a half stone back in 2015 and have maintained pretty much ever since. You change your mindset gradually and start making healthy choices, without any forbidden foods, which see the weight drop off gradually and makes it really easy to maintain. Enjoy! Xx

This is much, much better than Slimming World, imo. I like that it just gives you your minimum and maximum calories and nutrients that you need for health and then it's up to you where those calories and nutrients come from. I find it to be a great guideline and don't feel guilty or 'sinful' eating foods anymore..even if I go over my daily calories and nutrients. I can just see where I can adjust and eat cleaner the next day.

I'm not in the UK so I've never tried SW but I've lost all my excess weight with calorie counting, it's the best!! I love how flexible it is. Best of luck to you!!

Its definitely a whole new mindset. My husband does sw but he is fed up. I may suggest he tries this, although it then means I have to work out all the calories in the meals i make, as he enjoys some of them. xx

I calorie count using MFP and lost 9lb in 2 weeks but then I got covid and basically just ate what I felt like so I have put 3lb back on. But back on it tomorrow. Hope you're finding it's working for you so far xx

Good luck with the calorie counting! I did that for a bit and while it did work it wasn’t sustainable for me unfortunately. I’ve been giving intermittent fasting a shot and it’s been really helpful so far 😊

I’ve heard lots if good stories about intermittent fasting. A free of my online friends also do a combination of calorie counting along side it. It may be something I look at in the future although I can’t imagine not having my evening snack🙈

Something I've found with calorie counting is that I've been bitten by the value-for-money bug, only rather than it being money it's the calories! For example, the amount of calories in your dinner (which looked amazing!) compared to your snacks which was getting on for as much but probably wouldn't feel as sustaining. Now I find I'm playing things off against each other and not going for one thing when I'd rather *spend * the calories on something else! I've also got my air popper back out for popcorn which works wonders for snacking and making you feel full in between but with very little damage to the counting done! 😊👍 xx

I'm going to look at that approach as you seem more motivated for this and I can see why, you choose to eat what you want and can switch and change when you want. I don't have scales yet but soon I hope and will go for it as I want to drop a dress size or two, not for a holiday, I will be happy to have dropped it by Christmas. I still have a lot of my clothes that are too tight but don't want to stay this size so haven't thrown them out, a good incentive I think as I love some of them. Good luck, I do hope this way works for you and me eventually as I don't know about you but I know I feel more confident in a size 16 at most, shouldn't do but I do have a few hang ups and my belly is definatly one of them. Thank you for this video I’m really thinking of trying calorie counting it’s funny what you said as I was told to have full fat yoghurt rather than the low fat yoghurt as I have diabetes and just watch the sugar is calorie counting easy as I done SlimmingWorld my whole life x

@@ladymawa I don’t know I’m struggling lately I did with slimming world too but I had one day off plan rest on plan still lost weight. But with calorie counting it really bad I eat all the wrong foods hardly any veg or fruit . Don’t think it for me hun . How was your journey with calorie counting? Xx
