Yes, bolt is breaking the law, a driver must know the customer name, there telephone number, there pick up point and there drop off point before even a driver move and bolt is hiding all that info

technically they are not hiding the pickup and drop off points. they show you the address and distance for the pickup and drop off (they should show the post code for ease of driver). They have a feature in app to call the customer.

You have to accept 25% of trips or get deactivated, I don't know if that's true or not. I read it in the comments. However if it is true, and Bolt do not have multiplier ( driver set their price) Then they are worse than Lyft and Uber. Stay in the UK

I worked for Uber when they first set up in Manchester.I now work for Bolt and my first day was a fuckin disaster.I fucked up on jobs a few times and i crashed my ratings down to 3.I think my account hasnt yet been permanently blocked but a few years after i finshed with Uber my first day with this other tech firm Bolt was really hard.Its not just anxiety about now being 3 rated,customers will see that on their phone and it does piss me off.

@@ddpxl Cant remermber a lot but on the first day with Bolt one job was picking up following the satnav and going onto a busy road.I u turned and she started to get a bit fussed.I tried to avoid going too far and just jumped on a motorway further up and she was vexed with me about the route coz she thought she was going to be late for work.I got her there but it wasn that late prob only 5 min but you still get 1 starred..But i`m doing well now,hardly any prob.

A normal taxi also doesn't know where clients are going before they get in. Why is that even relevant? The only time this would be relevant is if it's like 200km+ away. Otherwise drivers would only accept "good trips" and all other clients would never get a ride. Also, you are able to cancel if you think you are too good for the trip.
