Community college is about to start!😳😬, as a person that stutters, its going to be pretty awkward and embarrassing but i know its all going to work out in the end. What helps the most is letting yourself know that you are not the only one.

Starting CC this year. Had pretty decent HS grades but having less debt over the years while still being able to transfer to a 4 year seemed a lot more reasonable given my financial situation. This video gave me a little more confidence about my choices. Thanks 🙏 ❤

I work in a community college in Oregon and watched your video to see what it's like (now) for students going to college. I hope students coming to class find it a friendly atmosphere and not intimidating! I'm here on campus to help students find basic needs, sign students up for SNAP (food stamps) if they need that, let students know where the food pantry is, help them find other resources. What I want to know today is what students need to learn about the college on the first day / first week they're here. Thanks for doing the video, @Charlee Nguyen.

Hey Charlee!! I’m really nervous about going to community. It’s my first time and I start Monday. I’m moving away from home that’s about 2 hours away from home. I’m sad as is leaving all my family and friends behind. I’m worried that it will be hard to make friends at community college. I heard it’s harder to make friends at community vs making friends at a university or so. What would you recommend on how to make friends that you actually get close with. And was it hard for you?

I actually found that making friends on community colleges were easier! I would just join school clubs and participate. For example, I joined student council and watched all of the clubs, so I HAD to get to know the other club leaders and participants. The hardest part is just doing it! Doing that forces you to talk to ppl and that's how I made my friends! It's scary at first but it works every time and less scarier than approaching ppl randomly. Since in clubs, you're going to have to like the ppl since you'll be around them

Hey! So at community colleges, I do not believe they offer masters. Those would be offered at universities instead of community colleges. The cost of my two years here was about 4k including books tuition etc.

Assuming you did well in your AP courses (wasn't in danger of flunking) it'll be a breeze for you. Just make sure you plan out your schedule for course work and organize yourself.
