It makes sense that the geomantic deck has repeats, because of the Geomancy system and how it is used. There are only 16 figures. Usually you create the first 4 figures of a tableau by counting random dots, and that means that a figure can come up several times. Out of these 4, you generate the other figures of the tableau, until you have a total of 15. There will always be some that come up 2 or more times. So if you do not hand draw your figures but lay them out with cards, you need the possibility of the same card coming up, and also need several of the same card during the tableau building process.
