The Logitech wheels are actually gear driven, so they're another level below belts.

definitely looks like a unique interesting concept. Direct drives at this point are intended for higher torque ratings and sitting on rigs. I think it's cool they are trying for this sort of plug and play format of the single box instead of a big drive motor and separate wheel rim setup. This model doesn't have a very high torque for most DDs but for this price it provides better torque than the entry level Logitechs or TMs but has the advantage of no gears / no belts in a similar, smaller form factor. Also it's significantly cheaper. I would consider it if i didn't have a working wheel already.

i went from g29 to moza r5 and it has been well worth it s price. only critic is that it doesn't have loadcell brakes

Hello I have a g29 great wheel for the price I paid £220 bundle deal that included a shifter , i like the g29 still but now I want a direct drive wheel probably a moza r5 but looking at cammus c5

I am really disappointed with Cammus and at this moment I am not thinking about purchasing anything else from the brand, and I will strongly recommend to the virtual pilot community that they do not buy either.

Biggest problem with Direct Drive wheels is that they can spin freely. Meaning: they spin well beyond the limitations of what a real wheel can spin. So, eventually they'll get out of sync with the wheel in the game because most, if not all, driving related games do have that realistic wheel limitation for the in-game steering wheel

Yeah all the settings in software and in game limit it to whatever car youre driving.. if they spun freely forever why would anyone buy them 🤣🤣
