Another excellent demonstration and explanation. I’ve owned a lot of Minis in my youth, but never knew about the slinging brackets. I always jacked on the subframes, but even then that was not always a good idea. Still learning at my age, thank you and keep the videos coming.

@gramjones9584 Thank you Graham! I love a good interesting fact myself 🤣 I actually called up Mini Sport and asked their team what they were for! I'm really enjoying this project. Excited to see where it leads.

I was interested to see your article in Professional Engineer. I am C.Eng. Been working on classic cars for years now but always something to learn. Just taken an online HNC in welding fabrication and inspection. Even though of retirement age. Quite a through study of the ins and outs of different welding sets, and more. Employed part time as design, welding and manufacturing engineer. Good luck with the project. Never worked on a mini myself.

@@Lauras.workshop One thing I always say if you want to qualify as a professional engineer, it pays to do a project management course. I did a APM course. Because they will be interested in how you manage projects at the interview stage.

Hey Laura, smashing it! Ive just removed the rear subframe on my channel. That was the easy bit. Im now putting it back together. Definitley hard work. How you finding the build?

@paultaylor9652 sadly I don't have the time. I am insanely busy. Working full time in engineering, whilst studying towards a degree too. On top of this I have a life and do volunteering. I'd rather my videos be high quality and shorter. But I appreciate the feedback
