ABOUT ME:
I'm Amanda and I live in Denmark with my family. My lovely husband and I (married in 2018) have our sons Adam from March 2019 and Adrian from January 2021. I'm a stay-at-home-mom and really enjoy these years getting to spend my days with our children. I work on the side (from home).
We are born again christians and believe that God has a plan for all of His children, and that by getting to know Him, we can live in His plan for us.That is what we strive to do.

I have always used pen and paper to unload my brain of all the thoughts (ideas and plans) that are trapped in there. I find it very therapeutic and it's the only way I truly feel like I know what's going on in my head - so that is why I plan.

I’ve wanted it for several years but haven’t because of the shipping cost was $75NZD! But I haven’t stopped wanting it over 3 years so I finally took the plunge. I got the A6 English, weeks and cousin. I only need two planners and I couldn’t pick but since shipping is so high I got them all 😅

Lovely video, I had a lot of fun watching it! : ) About the hobonichi articles: I find them appealing in a way, but I feel like there's too much plastic and nylon, especially with the packaging. It's like they live in a different world, where plastic waste isn't a problem at all. For example compare the hobonichi packaging and general use of materials with Roterfaden products.

It is beauuuutiful 😍 I really enjoy the color combinations- the green, yellow and pinks. The pinks have grown on me. I love the tape you opened! It looks a little like quilt pieces. Very delicate! I ordered my first hobonichi this year! My first box came in last week. Now I can't remember which journals I ordered, whether they had English or not, and whether I got a cover for each. I considered buying one for my oldest daughter who lived in Japan when she was 16. Then I thought about getting one for each of her 3 daughters. I didn't plan it out well, but I had fun in the Hobonichi Store. I'm excited about the second box coming in this week.

Yes, I’m actually very happy with it now. Disapointed first but I love it now. I decorated the outside of my black bullet journal with it when I retired it and I love how it looks. I’m excited for you. The good thing about not planning it out too well is that you get to be surprised when you open 😍 that’s hopefully a lovely experience! 🤗

Thanks for the video! I also recently got into hobonichi and planning in general. I got the 2021 original one. I haven't gotten a case for it or anything because I wanted to prove to myself that I'd put it to good use, and if it goes well then I'll buy more stuff for 2022. I hope you'll share a bit about how you're using them and how it's going for you so far! I'm still not sure if I should try a different size next year.

I totally understand that you started without the case. that’s probably the smart choice when you’re brand new to it. how is it going? do you like it? do you fill the entire page daily? @@amandaveros2210 It's only been about a week and I'm just starting to get into the rhythm. I find that I'm filling the daily pages with tasks and notes, and I kinda wish I had a weekly overview to do more weekly planning. I think I will be trying a Cousin next year-- but I'm not sure on whether to get the regular cousin or the 'avec' version. I'm pretty minimalistic but I'm going to wait until the end of the year and see how bulked up my Original got. I find I'm using it more like a journal than I thought I would. I'm getting more done than I have in a long time. I look forward to your updates so I can get even more ideas!

Really enjoyed your video and I will say "Hi" because I did watch it until the end. I too bought a lot of the hobonichi products this year. The first time I bought the Hobonichi cousin I also bought a cover and that was it for the first purchase. The second year I just bought the cousin. Last year I did not purchase anything and then this year I went crazy!!!!! I bought the cousine, mega weeks, and A6 undated. I also bought a new cover, pencil boards for each size, and clear covers for each. So not as much as you but still not a bad haul. The store where I buy from in Toronto has sold out of almost everything and they have yet to receive any inventory, however word is it in the country just not out of customs yet so I will be getting my things soon. I would love to see how you set up all your planners - it is really interesting to see what other people are doing. I really love the hobonichi products and I hope you will too.

How exciting 😃 and that’s a good question! I’ve never thought of sharing how the gifts went 😃 I bought the two A6 setups as gifts. One for my sister (26y/o) and one for my niece (9y/o). They are both creative and I thought it would be a different and exciting present. They don’t know about Hobonichi and are not as much into stationery as I am. I know that they both have used the notebooks and that they enjoy them but it has not revolutionaized their world 😉 But it’s really cute and I talk to them about using it often ☺️ I’m happy with how they recieved them 🙂

Hello…This is your last year order, you just uploaded recently correct? Was fun to watch, you were so excited. I love the regular weeks, its goes everywhere with me. I like the A6 too. The cousin just felt to big for me. Did you order for 2022? I love the paper Hobonichi uses, its so thin and nice to write on.

yes, correct 😃 you can read the explanation in the description box. I’m used to A5, but I think the cousin might feel bigger because the grid is smaller (4mm instead of 5). No, I haven’t decided on what to do for 2022 yet so I’m not gonna purchase anything until I do ☺️

No it comes with a nice letter from the company that handles the Fed Ex for Denmark. I just read that you filmed this about a year ago, so I think you know that now.I am waiting until Tuesday for an order, or for 1 Oct 2021. I am definitely not buying as much I did last year. I did 3 purchases from them during my first year so for my second year, I'll try to do what you just did. I see you also have a Platinum fountain pen. If you want something thinner than that, there's Pilot Kakuno in EF (extra fine).
