Also what I'd like to see by them is all their parts filmed separately. Gives you a real chance to look, watch, study, listen all at the same time. Each member could be getting huge views I believe doing this. Oh and no copyright hahaha

I'm an unashamed Leprous fanboy but my favourite new sport is watching people finding them and getting blown away. Their entire back catalogue is just superb and you can see the progression that they've made over time. Stunning band and one of the best live acts I've seen in the 30+ years I've been going to gigs.

Leprous - Slave (Live at Rockefeller Music Hall) I caught this version of the song on my Devin Townsend station while cutting grass a week ago. I immediately had to run inside and find out who these guys were. As a musician, Leprous have completely reinspired me. Been diving into their catalog every day since. As a fellow musician, I’m curious what your thoughts are on this song (the live version).

I agree about them being inspiring. I came across them late last year with their release of Pitfalls. I haven't been this INTO a band for years!

So I got to see Leprous live in Oslo last night. Not once but twice. A double concert. The first concerts I have attended since the virus fucked up everything. It was special and emotional in so many ways. We were seated, and with proper distance between the seats. Felt strange, but when the music started; just wow! The first consert was great. The second was an «out of body» experience! This was one of my greatest concertexperiences ever, only rivaled by the mighty Tool. Before the concert I wrote in a fanforum on Facebook (Leprous Fans) that I was hoping for At The Bottom. They have only played it live once before, so I really didn’t expect it. But the third last song in concert nr. 2, there it was. And they absolutely nailed it! They are truly a great liveband, so if you ever get a chance to see them live; do it! Ps; I sent the bassplayer a message when I woke up this morning with a smile on my face; I thanked him for the concerts and he replies that they put At The Bottom on the setlist because they knew I drove half the country to see them. I feel blessed, and so happy! What a nice thing to do. So as a 43-year old I can relate to teenage girls screaming their lungs empty when they see their idols😂 And we need another Leprous-reaction soon🙏🏻 All the best from Norway!

René, when I saw them this April on their last US tour date, they played "At the Bottom" instead of the "Distant Bells" everybody else in North America got on the set list. First time played live on our continent!😊 Ya know why? We were at a prog rock/metal venue in Chicago called "The Bottom" Lounge. Haha! Those cheeky bastards- we were ALL at The Bottom that night, technically. 😋

I thank you for this🙏🏻 Made my day! Leprous was started in 2001, and they’ve put out 6 records, all great in their own way. I get a Tool-vibe from this band, the songwriting is superb, and they perform them live as if in the studio. You should check out their live-performance from Rockefeller (a venue in Oslo). Superb quality. Also the drummer Baard Kolstad (who is amzing btw) has a lot of great playtroughs on youtube. So glad you did this one! Thank you!

Was asked to go to "a concert" by a friend of mine nearly 5 years ago. It was Leprous...have seen them 5 times since and I absolutely think I've never seen or heard a band before who's live performances are as good as/better than the album versions.

Check out Haken! They are mainly influenced by Gentle Giant and Dream Theater. Falling back to earth or Cockroach King (not the single edit otherwise you'll miss the great jazz part that was cut) are great introductions.

I like this a lot for the music. The vocals are a bit high for my liking. I am however, interested in hearing more just in case the vocal pitch comes down a bit. 👍
