Your mindset coming back from the first loss is all from skate boarding. The strength in the legs and over all is pretty damn solid. I'd say get a little more steam. I love your evolution over time, I remember years ago watching your videos where you’d skate, the whole perfect kick flip journey and long before that. I’ve grown so much since then and found that as one passion left me a new passion arose and it’s bjj, I just find it so awesome that one of my favorite KZbinrs I initially watched for skating has that passion for jiu jitsu now too. I love these videos, I’d watch anything bjj haha. And good job, can’t wait until I go to my first tournament.

I've wanted to learn MMA for so long but I never had the discipline. I finally tried recently and realized I was waaay out of shape, so I started a workout regime in the hopes I will move up to MMA. Seeing what you've shown us has given me more drive, and even your buddies telling you to keep on trying even when you think it's done gives me the drive to have that same mentality in every workout to push as if my life depends on it. Good luck my dude, you did fantastic, and hope you reach the level you want to reach! :D

Actually alot of parallels between jiujitsu(all grappling sports) and skating. Its an individual sport/art. You can have a team/friends you train with that also support you. Maneuvers/techniques are like Skate tricks. It takes a long while to get decent. It doesnt happen over night. Its a constant grind and battle to improve and see results. I fully support people grappling whether its Jitz, Judo or Wrestling. There are so many benefits physically and mentally. P.S. nice armbar dude. I dont know if you noticed but you also had a potential bow and arrow choke too. Was lowkey hoping for the bow wne arrow. Love that trick.
