but also the pain. that's what i remember the most, just how much she hurt me. just recently i realized (during therapy) that every girl i've been with or had a crush on ever since has been a her. the white version, the black version, the asian version, they were all in one way or another her. it made me realize that not processing such intense pain/trauma continues to do damage if you leave it unresolved. i'm over her biphobic racist circle of friends and the role they played but there's still the stuff that happened independent of the external factors i'm working on. i hope that when i'm done, that first time we FINALLY kissed and those early days we were together are the images that will pop in my head when i think of her. it had felt so right then and everything seemed to have clicked. it was just such a beautiful and magical time.

When it ended I too was crushed thinking I would never love again. But love does come again. My love and I have been together for almost 17 years and we even live in different cities. Yes, nothing like the fear mongering politicians. They claim and capitalize on the rising sea levels, and from the money they earned from it bought a beach front multi million mansions! The icecaps isn't melting, but they are growing. It's not getting warmer, it's getting colder. They claim pillar bears are doing it, but they are at a all time high. In 1960 it was 5.000 pillar bears, today is between 28.000 and 32.000! But I do agree we must stop polluting, since we are poisoning our foodsource. So instead of symbolic politics that end up putting more, how about starting with banning all use of plastic... We do already have environmentally friendly substitutes! The double standards of them, like flying thousands of private plains to climate summits!?!?

I'm currently going to college for environmental engineering and I get so excited when people talk about being better for the environment! I've started growing my own garden and herbs and started composting and I always bring my own water bottle to fast food restaurants so I dont use plastic, and dont get straws or plastic bags or to go containers (I bring my own containers), ect...but yeah I just love you and your content so to use your platform for something good is amazing!

I was 18 years old. My first time in a gay bar, with my best straight friend, after lying about my age... There he was, the man of my dreams. Looking a lot like Andrew Neighbors... 😁 his perfect smile cast the most beautiful glow from the neon Budweiser sign over the bar. As if he could sense someone looking his way, he scanned the room. His incredible eyes locked onto mine, and he smiled coyly at me. I quickly turned into Beaky the Buzzard from Warner Brothers... "uh huh... no, no, no, no, no... uh, nope" But as I looked up again, he was on the move my direction. He confidently walked up to me and in a deep, sexy voice he said, "Hi. I'm Drew." I opened my mouth and with every bit of 18 year old confidence I could muster, I said, "I got on new socks!" ... the rest was sort of a blur as my knees went weak, my vision blurred, and my ears only heard my best friend's voice, "Smooth one Russ. Real smooth." To this day in that town they call bombing at a hookup bar "pulling a Russ". 🤭

Brought back so many sad emotions for me. My first was sixteen and lasted two years. I really thought this was forever until he just stopped talking to me completely. Two stories here and your environmental concerns are mine as well. I live in Canada and politicians here are much like yours. Everyone talks the talk but no one’s doing anything concrete and there’s more ice melt in the Arctic than is normal. I’m in Newfoundland and we see ice bergs every year. They come down with the Labrador Current and only begin to melt when they meet the Gulf Stream. Quite a sight to see.
