Austin, i am just wondering something. How do you get in the hours neccesary to get a job? Does the flight school allow you to fly solo whenever you want? How do you get time to get in the hours while studying?

Brian hemsfield Hey Brian! I’m a private owner, so I am no expert when it comes to hour requirements for jobs, etc. but how it typically works is you typically continue training until you get your flight instructor rating, then you find a school (usually the one you did your training at) to work as an instructor until you build enough hours to apply for tours or other jobs. That’s just one route and there are many other ways to go about it.

Hey man awesome videos! I’m trying to figure out the best way to get the intercom audio on my GoPro. How do you do it because it doesn’t look like there’s a cord going into your headset. Thanks dude, keep up the good work!

Hamilton Coke I have a cord that goes from the headset plug to my GoPro! It’s made by Flight Flix I believe!

Do you need full vision to become a professional pilot(like for a hospotal) also what education do you need to be allowed to fly commercially?(like a hospital)
@AustinClaborn5 жыл бұрын
Tim Rasputkov I’m not a commercial pilot so I can’t answer for certainty, but I would assume as long as you are not “legally blind” and you have corrective lenses you should be good. As far as education goes there is no formal education required other than the flight/ground training needed.

@@AustinClaborn i googled it and what i found was "Most employers require pilots to have at least an associate's degree, with many preferring pilots to have a bachelor's degree. Pilots do not necessarily have to choose an aviation-related degree, and many employers prefer those with math, physics and aeronautical engineering degrees." So im just wondering; I wouldnt really want to take extra schooling(especially math) but hopefully i dont need college at all.

More helicopter sounds and less of that music, please. Also, too much editing. We want to see the entire process without editing. The more detailed you are the better. 👍🏼 Edit: My apologies. I have just realized that this vlog is two years old... Watching the newest ones now. I'm satisfied with the changes. 👍🏼
