100% recommend going to beaches in the northwest, such like Crashboat in Aguadilla, and in the west, like Buyé in Cabo Rojo. They’re incredibly beautiful, super clear water and amazing sunsets. The metropolitan area is just a small portion of what PR has to offer.

Saying J. Balvin is all you know of Reggaeton so you think it started in Colombia is like someone saying Eminem is all you know of hiphop so you think it started in Detroit. The Midwest got into Hiphop late in the game. Just like Colombia got into Reggaeton way after it was established.
@ThinLineMedia2 жыл бұрын
Oh my god ! Puerto Ricans didn't want to aknowledge J Balvin and Karol G for a long time, because they were from Colombia. Puerto Rico is the birth of reggaeton: Ivy Queen & Daddy Yankee were the first to bring it to the masses in the mid 90s and early 2000s. With the tracks like Gasolina. Amazing how Daddy Yankee is still relevant today and still tops the charts.

Let me know your thoughts.. 👍 Humidity, hot weather, Yes! (June,July, August🥵) other months are cooler. Light clothing a must, sleeveless shirts, shorts, straw hat, sandals, 🕶,icy water bottle highly recommended. Locals generally prefer going to shady rivers than hitting up beaches during the hotter months. If you want to cool off for a bit head over to El Yunque Rain Forest, then, Luquillo Kioks, Bioluminescent Bay in Fajardo...you need that rental asap! Buses/Train mainly serve metro area. Public transportation in P.R. is similar, if not exact, to Florida's public transportation. In other words you are gonna need a car. The west coast is also a popular vacation destination, lots to see and do best sunsets ever! Reggaeton originated in P.R. Daddy Yankee, Bad Bunny 🔥 worldwide! among many others. Salsa, Bomba, Plena music also popular especially in local festivies. Puerto Rican population in Island 3million aprox./ 8 million aprox. in U.S. Biggest population of PRicans are found in the eastcoast. NYC...had the largest population but after hurricane Maria many Islanders moved to Florida and numbers increased surpassing NYC PRican population.But we still have the biggest PRican 🇵🇷Day Parade there💪! P.D. Old San Juan a true gem!
