Another excellent video with some great shots. One small point, though: the bird at 4.26 isn't a coal tit. The structure is wrong, it lacks the white nape patch, and coal tits have a diagnostic double wingbar, which this bird lacks. I think it's a willow tit, although they are very similar to marsh tits. I don't know which species occurs at Pennington, or indeed if both can be seen there, so perhaps you could check.

Thanks for the advice. I will look into that.

My money is on Willow Tit-according to the interweb they are seen there on a daily basis. The bird in the picture has an all black bill-if it was a Marsh Tit they have a pale grey area on the bill near the head. It's a nice sighting-I've never seen a Willow Tit at all.

Hi Darrell. Having seen your video it’s definitely on our list to visit. We loved the photograph of the Lapwing standing, beautiful colours. Thanks Jon and Sandra

Great shots and an interesting video all round. Your lapwing is the best image I've seen with the colour of the plumage really showing well. And I loved the last kingfisher image too. Look forward to the next vid!

Thanks. I have had a sighting of the Kingfisher at my hide by my neighbours pond this morning so I am going with the camera in the morning. I will be filming and hope to have a new Kingfisher video soon.

I know it's not something you might taken much notice of Darrell, but I wondered what wheelchair access around the place was like? I'd be using my mobility scooter if I went there. It's quite big and substantial (has to be to take my weight!) It's not one of the small ones. Lovely photo of the Nuthatch and the Robin by the way.

As you say - I wasn't doing a proper assessment, but I would say that the whole site is very wheel chair friendly. The main path from the car park around to all of the hides is flat and wide. Several of the hides are at ground level and those that aren't have ramps up to them (I show several of the ramps in the video).
