Wow , great review ❤I’m in Canada and although the 72 set is around $89 Canadian dollars (I think)., I was able to get the muted set of 36 AND the pastel set of 36 for under $50 ; so quite a deal . It’s obviously as we’re closer to Mexico . I sure hope now that they won’t destroy the tins … lol 😂

Thanks so much, 💗 we've been waiting a while here in the Uk for them, I do like them, but not the price!😉 That sounds like a super deal, I'm sure yours will arrive better than mine, it was a third party seller, so not the normal Amazon shipping. They do look beautiful pencils, but like you I'm in the UK and really don't want pay £60. Look forward to seeing you create some beautiful pic with them, thanks for sharing

Hiya, yes, I like them, but they aren't worth £60, they aren't that much better than the Bruts, and for that money they need to be, x I need to have more of a play and decide which normal pencils I think will be best with them, then hopefully I'll get some use from them, x👍🫶🏻💗

I love my Indra pencils! I wish they made full color range. I do find they feel a lot like my Brutfuner squares.

They are sooo pretty, and they are nice to use, but not worth the current UK prices. I use my Holbein pastels the most, they aren't cheap, but they last me a while, and I can replace with loose stock from Jacksons, so they make sense to me. They are an unusual pencil though, and not every one likes the feel of them, so I'd buy couple first. Either of the Macroon sets are good though, Kalour's and Bruts. Both pop up on Ali and Temu for good prices, and they are great to use. I don't personally like the Castle set, or the Pastelowes, they both seem too waxy to me, but it's just personal taste, lots of folks love both. A pastel set makes other pencil sets more useable in my opinion, I am starting to add pastel sets, with most of my other sets. I'm thinking I might put this set with my Arrtx, as I feel they will likely work ok, and fills in some missing colours in my Arrtx. 👍❤️

I have a lot of nice sets my polys , prismas , albrecht durers and inktense I’ve not tried the Holbeins and I would so love too but like you say they aren’t cheap rolls Royce of all pencils 🥰

I really think the set I got must have been faulty, because I absolutely hated them but everyone else seems to love them so much :( The price is definitely better in the states, so even though I don't love them I'm not out that much money. I can't believe they are that pricey in the UK!

Hiya, what paper were you using, I did notice they didn't work so well on smooth paper, they felt like they were lacking pigment, but on something with a bit more texture they worked much better. I personally prefer my Holbeins, ( If I really had to pick just one) but these seemed like a good cheaper buy. (For you at least!😂) I think if you like a more oily pencil, then these perhaps aren't for you, as they seem pretty waxy. The price point is crazy here, It was only as I have a channel I wanted to try them, I can't in all honestly recommend them here at these prices. At least you know they aren't for you, x 👍😊

@@gagaforgluing8247 Gosh yes Absolutely! The price of Prisma's is also crazy at the moment. I don't use mine very often partly because I know they are silly prices, and I don't want to have to replace them. They wear down very quickly as well, so that makes the problem worse, ( Lets not even mention the snapping and splitting!🙈) They aren't my favourite set to be honest, they are very soft, so keeping control of them can be an issue, and the page is very waxy afterwards which I also don't love. They are so disappointing to open when they arrive, you 've spent all that money, and then open a box with poor print, split wood, they feel so cheap. My bruts arrive in better condition. You aren't missing much to be honest! xx🫶❤

@@wendyscolouring oh wow, really? I didn't realise that they had issues like that. I just always thought that they were meant to be the top best pencils to have. That's why I've always referred to them as my dream pencils. To be honest Black Widow pencils are probably still my go to pencils, closely followed by my Kalour 300 set. I'm so happy you told me truthfully about the prismas, I no longer feel like I'm missing out 🥰

I’d complain aggressively about the way they were sent; I mean, come on!! Just to let them know that’s not acceptable. I do that whenever my purchases are not delivered properly. After all: how dare the seller company/delivery service not take care to make sure that it arrives safely and undamaged? Unacceptable. I usually will get an apology and refund or a new set sent. We have a saying in Panama 🇵🇦: “Baby who doesn’t cry doesn’t get the bottle”. 🤷‍♀️ Anyhoo. Wendy you deserve better is all. As do we all , us customers! I have the same set and enjoy them. My Brutfuner pastel set has the edge on these (for me) though. It all depends on what color choices/texture pencils you like! Happy coloring. 🙂

Hiya, if the actual pencils were broken or damaged then yes I probably would have sent them back, but thankfully the pencils have all been good. I think it was a third party seller, so it will be more trouble than its worth to send them back, and I won't keep them in the tin anyway, so I'm ok with them now I've tested them all. The courier mentioned is known for bad service, so a seller that uses them, clearly doesn't care. I'm just relieved the pencils are all ok. I'm hoping these will work well with my arrtx pencils, as they feel pretty similar, will have to try them out a bit more. I like the Bruts, and for the money they can't be beaten can they!👍❤️🫶🏻
