you will be shocked if you come to Malaysia and find there are actually a lot of flavoured rice 🤣🤣🤣🤣. on daily basis we do eat plain rice but we have a lot of other options if we get bored of the plain rice.. we have tomato rice, chicken rice, nasi lemak (the coconut flavoured rice), nasi dagang (rice mixed with glutinous rice), nasi kerabu (blue coloured rice), beef rice, nasi minyak (literally said it is an oil/butter rice), corn rice and the list goes on... and the best thing is we don't have to wait until certain occasion or celebration to find these rice. they are everywhere 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

for nasi dagang, i think it's worth to put fenugreek seed together in the bracket. imho, it is the main component that makes the rice taste whole lot different from other rice🤣

That snacks in Malaysia, we called as papadom. Papadom is very famous in Malaysia if u eat with nasi beriyani.🤤🤤🤤. That bibimbap we called as nasi lemak. When u mix it all the ingredient, put the chicken on top and some papadom. That was sooooo delicious. U can taste spicy from sambal, crispy from papadom crunchy from the chicken😉😉😉

Since u like noodles, we have many types of noodle here in Malaysia, such as laksa (different state have different taste), mee bandung, mee hailam, mee rebus, mee hoon sup (put sambal kicap for tastier and spicier), mee kolok, etc. Better ask locals to know where the good one is, of course after covid is ok la

Watching you guys eating Malaysian foods, make me proud. The beef skewer is called "satay" with spicy peanut sauce. Then the noodles is called "curry mee", then nasi lemak (rice cook in coconut milk) with spicy anchovies paste called "sambal bilis" and the crunchy like nachos is called "papadom". You guys are really enjoying the food. Thank you and please come to Malaysia to enjoy varity of foods from 3 biggest ethnic group in Malaysia. Luv u guys 😍🇲🇾

That's not the correct way to eat nasi lemak. Don't mix all like eating your bibimbap. You should try the rice first. The rice is aromatic (pandan leaves) and cooked with coconut milk to give its milky and savoury taste.

The dishes u eat (i assumed based on my hungry eyes😂) 1.sate dip in peanuts sauce (chic,lamb,beef) onion+ cucumber as a condiments, eaten alternately between each bites of sate,to cut down the grease 2.curry mee 3.nasi lemak ( fatty rice😂) + fish cracker(or pappadum,either one) 4.roasted chicken+sweet sour sauce *Not sure the white dishes in the bowl 😅

Am I watching this right... U guys didn't mix the nasi lemak with sambal sauce, anchovies & peanut right? 😅 In Malaysia, the sambal sauce usually pair with food cooked with coconut milk (i.e. nasi lemak/chicken masak lemak we eat with sambal sauce) combine together, mix2 & walla! 😉

Glad you enjoyed the food. Most korean living in Malaysia have no problem with local food. They can even get korean food here too! We have lots of korean restaurants here, and Malaysian like eating korean food as well, especially korean chicken! 😅👍🏻

So sorry but we don't eat rice together with soup from laksa. And nasi lemak some people don't mix it all together and no Malaysian eat nasi lemak with chips. For satay there should have nasi himpit(compressed rice) and what's that chips tho?? I have never seen that before. The "lamb skewer" we called as SATE. and yes u must dip into the sauce which is "kuah kacang". It is made from ground nut. And the "udon" like noodle Im sure it is "laksa" the gravy basically made from fish meat. Pls pray for our Malaysia as this pandemic is over and do come to Malaysia and stay longer and enjoy it!
