Congratulations, I did my first half marathon at 43. It was super hard but very rewarding.

Huge congrats Dan! About 10 years ago when I was in much better shape I also ran a half marathon. The accomplishment of just finishing was the most rewarding physical thing I’ve ever done, and I actually got a tattoo because of it which I never thought I would do.not sure how your body was after, but I had a hard time walking to the car after I finished. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family.

Nice job. “The race is not always to the swift, but to those who keep on running.” I don't know who said it but it was a sign that hung in my dads office that I remember.

Congrats. I did my first at 41 as well. Little Rock half. Huge finish medal. Sucked but I ran 5 more before I retired, lol, 2 years later.

Awesome... I run a lot and have done several halfs. Not going to do a full ever! Too old and just too hard on the body. Dude, I have the same Michael Scott run for the cure shirt!

The guy in the thumbnail is looking at his phone while running. Lol

lol he was past the finish line. A lot of people grab their phones to stop fitness trackers at the finish line but it does look silly. Nearly as silly as someone running with a camera lol.
