My First Maschine: Voulez-vous danser Mademoiselle?

I just inherited a Maschine ( no, not the new one ) so now my studio has a soft side as well as the usual hard side. This is my first track made entirely in the box, let me know what you think.

Yes, he used the same sample from the Valery Voulez-vous Danser Mademoiselle song. But album also used a bunch stuff grabbed from similar movie dialogues.

Custom made! obviously there’s a real speaker underneath, but hours of gluing little mirror tiles. 🪩

How do you like it compared to the Deluge?

To be honest, they’re both very different. The Déluge is an exercise in UX and processing constraints, while this is a hardware controller with a specialized DAW but the full processing power of a computer. Coming from the hardware world, I really like being able to treat the Maschine just like another groovebox
