This is my first cricket match in India. I used my GoPro to document my week playing for the Cape Town Jackals in a Last Man Stands tournament which took place in Chandigarh. What a dream come true!

Good to hear from you again Gareth. For your first game that was a fantastic performance. Maybe a bat with a lower middle might be more conducive to these wickets. Playing the ball as late as possible will improve the probability of connecting to the middle. I’m sure the team will improve with the progression of time. Looking forward to the remaining games. I've played on pitches like this before and the key is to always be on the front foot and try to meet the ball on the half volley. As you can see that's what the opposition batters did. While bowling, dont let the batters get under the ball. So bowl full&wide or bouncers. Hope that helps.

Bru your vids give me lekka nostalgia hay, sho I miss these kind of games. I have some choms this side in joburg from Pakistan, they own these spaza shops, I used to walk to my friends house as a youngster with a cricket bat as protection ( I was overly paranoid ) and these oaks asked me if I played cricket, I said yes and that journey started that day. just a small observation here : at 16:32 the bowler overpitches it and gets hit for 4 and tells himself after the ball to pull back his length and the next ball he does exactly that and gets the batsman right where he wanted but unfortunately the catch was dropped but hats off to the bowler for learning on the spot and proper execution.
