Now, that was a fantastic tour of Bryson City's town center at night! I always wondered what it would look and feel like strolling around there at night. It's simply beautiful, very serene, and extremely peaceful. Wow! That nightime chorus from the various insects was actually relaxing and made me want to start reciting over and over again: "Lyons and tigers and bears, oh my" (from the Wizard of Oz). 😂 Thank you both for making this awesome video. We moved 3 years ago to Elkin, NC from Ohio. I absolutely love this state. I tell my husband that I feel a little closer to heaven living here. Looks like you had a fun & safe walk.

I'm from Indiana originally.. ugh....lol it's so flat and boring there in Indiana, as I'm sure you might have felt it was that way in Ohio. It's definitely more beautiful down here!! I've never heard of Elkin,NC. 🤔😊

Yes, it's so cute. And i love being close to town, for that reason alone... walking at night in town. My fav though is being so close to deep creek. Kody and i love to go down there and sit by the water, and just relax and listen to the water. 🩷

This is just a suggestion; If you put Bryson City in your title, it will draw people to your channel. Maybe do some videos showcasing deep creek , NOC, etc and out in title. 😉

I say that because many are planning a trip and look at videos. There’s several channels in gatlinburg that show the town all year as it changes and goes to restaurants etc for reviews and make a living on their channel. Again, just a suggestion.

Im not a KZbinr, so I don’t know. I honestly don’t use # or know what it is, so it could be that does it… im old school and just type in when looking for something. That’s all I know about it. So, maybe that’s a universal Search engine way of doing it. 🤷‍♀️ It just dawned on me when you did the walk how many would love videos of the area. Sooo many people go there each year. I really think you’d do great with videos directed at reviewing the area for tourism. I can see you having a good channel. I wish you all the best!

Not fair of you to diss Honey Bears Cupcakery for "never being open" when you obviously haven't checked out their website to learn how they operate. You have to call and place your order 48 hours in advance and then pick up your order after noon on your pick up day. They don't do walk-in service because all of their orders are made from scratch based on their orders. This info is all on their website and I'm sure on the outside of their shop, if you'd bothered to check. They are a well loved shop in our town.

Yes it does. I think it has 2 different train rides and a Polar Express ride at Christmas. I went on the ride that goes through the Nantahala gorge.

We rode in the open air car. It was in the Fall. You get to see a lot more of the scenery. They let us sit inside when we got chilled, but we mostly rode outside.

Hi Mellissa good to see you do another video & you're sounding a bit better. Yes the humidity is hard on lungs too maybe that caused a little shortness of breath. Lots of wonderful local folks own these places some are friends. BC Outdoors has a variety of things & serve beer, great people. Also bakery store across the street. High Test deli is great, make friends, they'll remember your name. Oh Pasqualelino's is good. He was not at all insulting Italians ( maybe a little self statue portrait lol) maybe Italian places show the chefs a bit big as sign of good eaters & delicious food. La Dolce is owned by a very nice lady. The town is going through issues due to in my opinion antiquated water system not updated years ago to allow for building more etc. So the city has raised the water like 300% and businesses are not happy. There's going to be a city council meeting where more than just complaints are said questions will hopefully be answered next. This is detrimental to business owners staying open it seems. I think the mtgs are on KZbin at least used to be. It's a great time to have well water. Wait till you see how pretty it's decorated for Christmas. They'll change to fall decor soon. Oh the place that has outdoor type activities also puts in ice skating but it's not regular ice, need special skates. They have pit fires going in the cold & food trucks sometimes. Have a great week.

Not for our walk. We left the dogs at home so we could relax a little lol. We did take the dogs for their own little "appropriate" size walk before we left. 😂🥰
