So, I married an Oxford Mississippi woman. On the first date she told me how amazing Oxford is. I was reluctant to believe her until our first trip there. It really is a diamond in the rough. It’s a college town, but has an eclectic vibe that grabs ahold of you in ways that can’t be ignored. We plan to retire there within the next five years.

They do an awesome Halloween festival where they put a ton of Jac-o-lanterns on the bridge and down in the river

I am AMAZED you would have Unalaska on this list. Yes… it is nice. In the summer when he sun shines 4 days in 6 months. I lived in Unalaska for 6 months as a project engineer on their sewage treatment plant. Speaking of sewage… imagine a 5 gallon bucket in your “honey closet” where your piss and shit into. When it gets full, you take it out to your 55 gallon “honey barrel” on your front deck. Not on the ground… you would thaw it out and it would all spill on your front tundra. NOT a yard… tundra. Once a month, public utilities will come around with a skidsteer and haul your pissy, shitty “honey waste” and dump it 4 miles downwind from Unalaska.

I don't know why anyone would "hate" carson city. But I think people get annoyed when videos use the term "charming small town" then proceed to list world famous towns that everyone knows about. Like everyone knows about Carson City (Tahoe, Truckee,Reno all get rolled into one with it) even if they've never been there. It's like if he put Aspen CO, Jackson Hole, WY or Sun Valley ID on here. Even Bend is completely overrun. kinda like on previous videos I would also say Oregonians eye roll to death when people list Cannon Beach or Yachats as hidden gems.

There is plenty of outside activities, including biking, hiking, four wheeling and fishing. And you have skiing in the winter. I on top of there is the whitefish railroad station which means you can jump Amtrak or just hang around and watch the railyard. Future I found in the short time I was there. It’s only drawback is if you’re a golfer, it’s either join the so-so country club or give up the game after playing the only public course where the layout is a joke. The food scene is great and the museums you mentioned are world class. If you’re into the outdoors there’s plenty of places to enjoy like nearby Red Top Mountain and Lake Allatoona. @@ehdforlifeIt’s not, the climate is changing. It just isn’t caused by man like the UN globalists love to push for SDG reasons and to eventually strip us of whatever rights we have left. Over a thousand climatologists and scientists of varying types all agree the mainstream narrative is absolute bs. They literally don’t even take albedo into account! And in general it is 24hr average temperatures rising, not max daytime highs (as easily seen with many area temperature records being from the early 1900s). Low temperatures have been affected most. Well, what affects low temperatures more than albedo (besides wind) 🤦🏻♂️

Now THAT is a charming small town, up in the Mission district. We’re talking about Winslow - Right? It IS cute I f you don’t mind the desert, but I do. After 25 years in the Smoky Mountains, I need the green and the trees. You want a lawn? Mow. That’s it. What is it with desert towns and public restrooms?!? Nothing worse than picking a gas station that claims that they do NOT have public rest rooms?? So did a fair amount of reaching in Oxford. Love that town. Loved it! Didn’t know about the chefs, though. Ate mostly hospital cafeteria food. Gotta head back to the area in about 4 weeks. Anyone have some good recommendations ? Thanks Briggs. Am avoiding Northern Georgia as long as MTG is in the area. Safer that way!
