Great work on the site! It's clear that the project faced some challenges, but you're handling every problem really well. I'm especially impressed with how you deal with equipment issues-it's always important to keep an eye on those details. What’s up Sam? 1)JD didn’t offer a hydraulic quick connect for my machine but wish I had one too. 2) them manual pole saws are the devil 😂. 3) a mulcher, cutter head, mower attachment,etc will definitely find some unwanted material on the ground. It’s amazing what you will find 😂. 4) I didn’t have my mulching attachment long before I found a loose line that leaked oil everywhere and then not long after tore a non related seal and leaked the gear oil from the main bearing 🤦‍♂️. Always something. You know as long as you have equipment you will have problems to fix. Good video and great message. Take care buddy

Hey Matt that is a good question and the biggest thing is the reach you have with an excavator. You can reach into smaller and hard to get to places with the excavator. The skid steer definitely is faster and cover more ground than an excavator.

My opinion on those park brake pads. Most brake systems allow for the caliper to have enough travel to hold pressure even when pads are metal to metal. Parking pads typically don’t have or need to be as thick you may see on actual brake pads. As they aren’t really intended to wear much. They just keep it put when stopped. They look pretty good to me. I believe the problem may have been what you found with the caliper or something up stream from that. There may be additional adjustments that can be made that limited park brake pedal or lever travel. The ability to hold pressure is being lost somewhere. P.s. good message I’ve got a family member I’ve been struggling with. Forgive and forget seems to be the only way forward. Thanks again.

Good question! I was thinking it would have its own lines but there maybe a way to use a diverter valve, makes sense that it would work…
@jfitz9624
@jfitz9624 3 күн бұрын
@@tristardiggin adding another set of spools to the main control valve after the fact and plumbing that all in is hard and expensive. So what I’ve seen with most aftermarket hydraulic quick couplers is an electronic diverter valve plumbed into the swing boom circuit. And you get a controller to mount in the cab. During normal operation it has no effect on the machine. Swing boom works as normal. But when you want to swap attachments you flip a switch on the controller which diverts fluid to the coupler, you switch your attachments and then flip the switch back. Pretty easy setup too. I have a 304e2 as well with the dreaded manual coupler. Too often I’m like, I really need to switch to my ripper, but I’m too lazy to get up so I’m just going to dig this out with my bucket lol. It doesn’t mean giving up on them entirely, but it does mean recognizing that their journey is their own, and your efforts are best spent where they are welcome. It’s about balance: keep forgiving and loving, but don’t let their refusal to forgive or accept the Gospel derail your own path. Protect your peace and understand Matthew 10: 14 concerning shaking the dust from your sandals. Even after forgiveness some people will still try to use you, still try to manipulate you down both spiritually and financially and there is no excuse for it. It reminds me of some of the harsh statements that Jesus had for the Pharisees and the scribes that acted just like this. I don't give up on people after they have rejected me but there is the time when we have to consider right from wrong. In rejecting the gospel is always a terrible choice for a sinner. Just as in Jesus's time when he walked the face of the earth, there will always be people who try to use others in terms of their spirituality or their finances. Perhaps we need to have a discussion about the money changers at this point. We have to clearly understand that there will always be people who are trying their best to use others both financially and spiritually.
