Another great job! It's unbelievable that your channel still doesn't have thousands of subscribers. Greetings from Brazil 👏👏👏

Still a fun ride and cool to see one of your first creations! Look forward to seeing your new one!

Thanks - I'm currently taking a break to play the final fantasy 7 remake and I estimate I'm about 50% of the way through my ride (it has gone slow due to several breaks in playing other games preceded by a lull where I was giving Planet Zoo a shot as "next generation" - Unfortunately, it lacks good ride mechanics (What I really want is Planet Coaster 2 - I'd gladly pay $50 for just Planet Coaster "as is" but with the upgraded graphics and additions assets in planet Zoo)

And it is funny that you say the ride is fun. I get bored after about 30 seconds of watching it. It is way too slow by modern standards, or more rightly, it is too slow given the low density of scenery.

Yeah, just like software development, building a ride on Planet Coaster just as challenging as it is a project that requires lots of planning and management. The only thing is unlike software development, developing a virtual ride on Planet Coaster requires no technical skills, its just drag and drop to build but your creativity skills and your imagination to create a good impressive ride is another challenge!

Beautiful! Brad, how do you photograph your videos? they are so smooth and polished. I'm trying with the standard controls and unable to get the smooth pans. Any pointers are appreciated. Thanks!

Hi - The trick is to reduce the mouse and keyboard sensitivity. In the game screen, hit the escape key, and then click "settings." Then go to the "Camera Tab." For this video, I turned key sensitivity to -3, and mouse sensitivity to -10. I almost always have mouse sensitivity to -10, but if I'm doing a video and want slower tracking, I'll turn key sensitivity down to -10. Also, make sure you that you have the alternative control scheme set. When you load a level, it always defaults to a horrific default scheme. Hit the T key to have it navigate as you would expect (and should be the default). That is also critical.

Hi - Other info. I have a GTX 1080ti and a fairly fast CPU (4.2Mhz Intel). Both are important for getting pretty videos as it allows you to up the graphics settings, and still get a good frame rate. You can turn down things like shadows to medium, but multisample quality must absolutely be set to its maximum setting (has only a minor frame rate impact but a major visual impact). Also, geometric detail must be set to very high, with foreground atmospherics set to high and background atmospherics set to medium. I take the video with NVida's shadowplay. If you have an NVidia card, you hit alt-z to turn it on. I record at 1080p resolution (even though my monitor is 4K) and with a 60htz frame rate. The latter is very important even though planet coaster might only be pumping out 20-30 fps. Taking a 60hz video is important for smooth editing later and I totally notice that if I generate my final video in 60hz from my video editing SW, it looks much smoother (despite the fact that planet coaster isn't running anywhere near that fast).

@@BradHamiltonVideo Thank you for advice. I plan to use all. I have an NVidia card but not using the "Experience" software. Getting that installed today. Thanks again!

Build a mountain over the ride or build the ride underground. If you download this park on steam, you will see a simple example.
