I feel like you didn't get the true Primark experience, that store looked way too nice. There should be roving gangs of mums with prams and 19 screaming children. The clothes should be thrown haphazardly around, with the only available sizes being for the world's first human mountain or an actual toddler. The staff should either be schoolgirls who wish you were dead, or older women on the verge of tears. Plus you need to wait a month to play the true Primark game. Did you get a bargain that will last forever, or will it disintegrate in the wash? You missed out.

@Eimear Byrne No, it's totally a UK thing too. Not just an Irish thing, As a Brit, I can confirm. lol Might be an Irish store, but it's been around in the UK for a long time as well. Also, why are you telling them to fuck off? Rude, much?

I went to one of the first primarks in Boston and the sales people were all like, 'we're trying to make an affordable clothes brand with artisan, fashionable and quality clothing!' And they had like pretty lighting and pot plants. Then you go to a darkened primark in a shopping mall from the late 80's in the UK and its literally just used lipsticks and three women fighting over a sweatshirt with a mysterious brown stain on it.

Other than Dunnes is there anywhere else to buy clothes or homewares. Remember first time I found Dunnes, Marks and Spencer that's affordable. Knew Primark from the Ipswich branch but Penney's are better laid out. Candles are the best value ever, all our bedding comes from there, make up is affordable and top quality. The pros go on and on. The cons are the groups of teenagers and the buggies full of screaming brats (swear there never used to be so many 20-30 years ago) and the queues at the checkouts. Plus you always come out with twice as much as you went into in to buy.

YES TO THAT PILLOW. Went to Germany in August and bought the exact same pillow... Shoved it in my suitcase to haul back to Canada. 100% would do again.

It's so strange seeing an American with primark bags. In the U.K., the shops are a mess, have barely any clothes in a size 4/6 and are always full and sweaty
