Didn't expect this at all but this is so epic, I love Xiu Xiu. FYI they do have "nicer" tracks, hard to say exactly "nicer" albums. Both 'A Promise' and 'Knife Play' are amazing and have their kinder moments mixed in with grief and terror. P.s. Not to rub salt in the wound, but Mary Turner is a real woman and that really did happen. One of the most devastating and disgusting things I've ever heard and to know it was purely racism just fucks it further.

Funny you say it sounds like bowie at one point, since xiu xiu has a cover of under pressure, it also features the lead singer of Swans, i highly reccomend it, it's a good cover.

hope you listen to more Xiu Xiu,. Fabulous Muscles and A Promise are incredible. also their new singles are great too, definitely a different vibe from this project and their last one.
