That was really cool. Great listening to your stories from back in the day. I’m glad you’ve still got that guitar, it’s part of your history! 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🎸

Cool video. That is a killer guitar and you can tell you’ve put a ton of miles on it.

Thank you Matt! They were from Ibanez' heyday... they don't make them as good since... In my opinion. :)

My first one was an Ibanez aswell. Bought used in 81. Strat copy, but it played so well, still does. As you said, then was the time when Ibanez was a cheap brand new in market. Thanks for the story.

For me personally their heyday was the late 80's... a lot of the big guitar players at the time were playing them. :)

Wonderful! There's a lot of yourself in that guitar, you can see that as you stared at it. Lovely guitar

Had the exact same experience, but with an Ibanez RG 760. Sold it over 10 years ago to a student and recently he sold it back to me. Can't believe I let it go in the first place.

This is so good hearing your stories.Getting to know a little more about you and guitars that are important to you.I had many guitars My first guitar I bought at 13 and it was because is was a beautiful purple colour as I am a prince fan.But ibanez was the one for me,An RG 550 in coral mist and later on in years Bought a 90th anniversary steve vai jem,Which i sold to help a friend out,The sad thing is we no longer speak,But I valued friendship more So was willing to help and knew that was the most money I could get to help him out Loving ur channel and friends around the world love it too. Peace and b wild

I definitely understand through first-hand experience what you mean about certain guitars having A connection with. Good genuine story there my friend thank you. I remember my first electric guitar I traded BB gun in a bow and arrow for it was a Peavy predator👍🏼👍🏼

This is the guitar I have been dreaming about. I've been doing the same thing you did. Pick it up then put it away pick it up then put it away. I really need lessons.

Honestly I hate 5 way switches too, but I use middle pickups, I'd rather actiave the middle pickup with a push/pull or toggle in combination with whatever position a 3 way blade would be on.
@YesYouCANPlayGuitar2 жыл бұрын
I much prefer 3 way switches as well…

@@YesYouCANPlayGuitar Probably comes from playing a Les Paul for 5 years exclusively. I just want to flick(or: hit) the switch and be done with it, not fiddle around with it to put it exactly in the right in between.

O m g that was my first guitar also. Same with the pickups. I got mine at Sam ash brand new. Ex wife broke it on me.
