My FIRST Storytime!

alright this took an extremely long time to make... mostly because i kept getting discouraged and feeling like it wasn't good enough, i kept wanting to make changes, and then having doubts about posting something this personal lol
I shared this first on Patreon a month ago, unsure if i wanted to even post it publicly at all. since i put so much effort into it i kinda wanted to post it just so it doesn't go to waste, but i'm also just not completely happy with it either.
do you guys have any feedback? suggestions? changes i can do to make my storytimes better in the future?
really any kind of feedback would be greatly appreciated!! ;o;

Just a tip for everyone. You CAN ask the bus driver to pull over on the next stop. It happens all the time and it’s really not a big deal. I mean it’s just 5-10 minutes. They won’t act like “NO SUFFER”

Yes but Not when youre on a schooltrip in London in the 9th grade. Then they really just let you suffer. They didn‘t let me Go on the Toilet on the way to the Bus Trip, neither they let me Go during the Bus trip, even tho there was a toilet in the Bus. I was just crying on the Bus, waiting for a Toilette for over 4 Hours. Then when we finally did a break and i went to the Toilette, one of my teachers came up to me and said: „now youre feeling better Right?“ but with a smile like she wanted to make fun of me. Since that day, i Never Talked to her again, Not Even during the englisch lessons, i was just so pissed on her. I still hate her, even tho i havent seen her in years 😒

I felt SO bad for you, watching this! I tried something similar some years ago. I was out alone and I had to pee but I was too shy to go into a store and ask to use a bathroom, so I just decided I should walk home and use the restroom there. Big mistake. It was only maybe a 25-30 minute walk, but I was in so much pain, every step hurt my bladder and finally relieving myself did not feel good either. But man several hours like that.. I'm honestly impressed you even lasted that long. Onta is such a sweetheart though. What an A+ friend!⭐

Also in regards to improvement: I'd say this was very good. I definitely found myself entertained, loved the art! Some more animated bits would be nice (not a lot, even a little animation goes a long way), but I'd say it's still good as it is.

But the emotional pain you feel whether good or bad you will feel it the rest of your life. Something similar happened to me but with the vomit. We are going to a travel to Russia, but the travel agency got tickets to Romania. So we need to take like 6-7 hours of plane and like 7-8 on car THE SAME DAY. So I was so sleepy and I buy a coffee at airport of Romania, A REALLY BAD IDEA. In the car I start feeling that my stomach hurts a lot, so in a stop I try to vomit, but nothing. We continue the travel by car and suddenly I vomit a lot, was really disgusting,,,, In the travel I didn't eat too much and when I got home, like severals months my stomach hurts when I was hungry, I'm so thankful that I don't feel that everyday but still a bad memory ;;; (Also sorry my English is so bad ;;;)

This is very relatable. Most storytime youtubers that I know of are shy (not saying i'm not myself). No stories are bad. People are gonna keep enjoying this stuff anyways no matter how embarrassing, weird, crazy, etc. This is what story time is about. Sharing stories that are fun to show and tell. Keep up the amazing work Seel and remember, just tell/animate any story as long as it's not out of your comfort zone. I mean REALLY far out or if you don't want to share it of course.

Very interesting story to start out with, and I mean that in a good way! Your simple animations are very nice and easy to follow! So a great first storytime video! I've only once had to hold onto my pee for what seemed like 4 hours, and it was absolutely terrible, definitely good advice to just go before hand. It's almost never worth the terrible feeling you get for holding it in for too long.

I had a really similar situation happen during a school shooting and having to deal with pee anxiety on top of the stressful situation really was one of the worst feelings ever. The aftermath was horrible and almost exactly like you described where anytime I went to ths bathroom that anxiety and pain came rushing back. Wasnt fun and I felt really guilty that the bladder thing is what traumatized me over the actual event but I'm glad I'm not the only one orz (I love your art + videos!!
