You got some good knowledge and life experiences mate, i have watched a few of your other videos before finding this one and each one the way you re-tell your life stories resembles that of a well written book/auto-biography, big respects bro I am 24 years old and am still a heroin addict and have been since I was 16 years old, I was injecting 5 times a day from 16 to 18 and now I only chase on foil, but I can count on both hands the amount of times I have entered a detox program and had small spates of being clean but ultimately I have always failed to stay away from the bad influence girlfriend which is heroin, love to hate her hate to love her. She can be the devil and she can be the god. I have just always struggled to fill the void that heroin has been filling in my life and always go back to it in the end, A bit of a tangent but glad to have found your channel mate, earned a subscriber!

Hello Pepsi. Firstly Ive just watched this and your 2 Shaun Atwell interviews absolutely captivating. Im a few years older than you but I renember at 19 hanging around with lads who had done all the YO and starting to dabble in first methadone and then H by June of 1990 I found myself facing a serious charge(1st offence)which my pals said I would probably go to jail for 2 years for and spent that summer on a curfew conditional bail.Miraculously the charge was dropped through lack of evidence just before it was committed to Crown Court. This was a huge wake up call which. Istill thank God for today. Secondly Im intrigued that someone as articulate, intelligent and thoughtful as yourself spent so long on that path? Resoect though. You obviously have good soul and are doing great things. Carl

Heroin addiction sucks! If you have never been an addict you can never know how fucking hard it is to stop using, especially when you have no love and support. Getting your life back after being an addict is one of the hardest things you can face in life, but if your lucky enough to come out the otherside you will be a stronger and wiser person, it can be a valuable lesson. Former addicts have a gift, they can help other addicts get their lives back with their experience. It's like having a virgin teach sexual education, you really can't teach and help other addicts if you haven't been their yourself, you can't even begin to comprehend the mindset of an addict unless you have walked a mile in their shoes.

Ive never had heroin but ive had other stuff. Ive had some bad come downs but i dont think i could handle that heroin rattle, it sounds horrendous.The way you described it made me feel like i was experiencing it myself. Mad love again im sorry i couldnt get out to speakers corner to stand with you but im with you all the way and love what your doing. Respect.

That was pretty much my experience of it, smoking to start with, barfing in the sun with your pals.. Great time. When that detox first hits you really know about it though "Oh shit.." 20 years later snowballing, I've lost interest, just do piills in moderation now (mind you the detox off them is WAY worse so just do in *great* moderation.). You can always get help, a methadone script which is a lifesaver if only financially but ibogaine is also a GREAT way to get clean, you still have to do the work afterwards though.

I was addicted to opiates for 20 years , i did most drugs in my youth and never became dependent , so i thought i could control h , it destroyed me and was taking it just not to be sick , withdrawals are horrfic you described it perfectly, when i get cravings i think of how bad the sickness is and it goes away
