I noticed 2 interesting details in Gears 3 after replaying it recently: When Marcus tells Cole and Baird about what happened to Dom, they both react in ways that go directly against their usual personalities to show how much that news hurt them. Baird, usually the smartass who doesn't shut up, completely shuts down in disbelief and for the rest of the chapter his worries are brought up with less snarkiness and more actual fear. Cole, on the other hand, usually the positive uplifting member of Delta who tries his best to not let the horrors of war get to him, goes into a genuine state of rage for a few moments before getting a hold of himself. The second thing I noticed was when Marcus sees his father die, his body language is exactly the same as Dom finding Maria; falling to his knees in disbelief then looking back at his close friends like he doesn't know what to do anymore. They're not exactly happy details, but hey, at least Carmine survived.

For seeing Carmine alive at the end, fans got to pick whether Carmine was to live or die at the end of gears 3, I was one of those fans, even though I was only 11 at the time when it was released. I still love the fan interaction they had with us, as we got to choose the fate of a brother to a beloved family, the Carmines.

Gears of war knew exactly how to make the perfect joke characters who aren't joke characters at all. Anthony's death cemented himself as the unlucky red shirt of Gears 1 and Ben's death in Gears 2 helped establish the Carmines as the clumsy lovable death target characters. But Clayton and Lizzie's (you'll see her in Gears 5) characters help establish the Carmine family as a truly tragic but amazing family. And I don't think there is a single Gears fan who doesn't love the Carmine family. They are all great and easily the best characters to use in Multiplayer for their dialogue

Probably one of my favourite endings to a video game even though it is bittersweet. Marcus in the space of less than a day has discovered that his father is actually alive, then goes to lose both him and his best friend. The war may be over and everyone is happy that they won but Marcus doesn't feel like that. It takes Anya to remind him that there is a future.

1:20:27 Yes, as we learned in Gears of War 2, the first Locust (the Sires) were created from humans infected with rustlung (which we now know in Gears 3 is a form of Lambency). Adam Fenix said the countermeasure would destroy any contaminated cells, and the Imulsion existed within the Locust on a genetic level (which made them all the more susceptible to becoming Lambent in the first place).

Although, if you want to continue with the saga, I would recommend that you continue with the following chronology: .1.- GOW 3 DLC or Raam shadows. .2.- GOW Judgment and its expansion. .3.- GOW 4. 1.- Something very curious is about EPIC GAMES and CLAYTON CARMINE, did you know that during the development of the game in 2010, Epic launched a campaign on XBOX 360 in the avatar store where you could get one of 2 t-shirts, one with the motto "SAVE CARMINE" and another with "KILL CARMINE", where the most obtained would be the one destined to Clayton's fate, Epic had left the fate of the third brother to his fans in their hands, and as you can see, we know which one won haha. 2.- The beast that Myrrah uses is a late model vehicle, the TEMPEST, this enemy is based on a fly with a beetle, unfortunately almost nothing is known about this species, what is known is that: . it has a brown skin that is covered with a golden armored armor attached to its body. . It is capable of withstanding conventional fire and attacks from the Hammer of Dawn. . it has great speed, strength, and endurance. . It is capable of shooting a fire breath from its mouth capable of melting even rock, caused by the experimentation of imulsion in its body by the real scientist during the "Locust Civil War", so it is believed that this beast has more than 30 years alive. We see this for the first time in GOW UE at the end after killing Raam although this beast is seen by Delta-1, 17 years after E-Day during an attack on the base of some savage losust. 1:19:25 "Thats from Dom...and everyone else you killed, you bitch". humanity finally won against the lambent and locust, rest in peace: . This is the first game trilogy that made me sad when it was over, it's been just under 10 years since 3 released (for all the OG Gears players yes it really has. Sept. 20, 2011) and I still play 1-3 every now and then because I just can't let Gears go. 4 is decent but its not the same, 5 is decent as well but for me the AI are kinda dumb sometimes and ruin it. If/when they do make a gears 6 I hope the AI is better than 5. Also if you remember some people (self included) were telling you they had players vote on whether Clayton lived or died... well now you know which vote won lol. I'm so glad you remembered Dom's knife even if I did point it out to you. ;)

Hey! Finally completed the trilogy! Watching you play has reinvigorated my desire to pick these games up again. If you're interested in learning a bit more about the lore and some of the characters, I'd recommend picking up the first two novels (Aspheo Fields and Jacinto's Remanent). Bernie, the older woman with the dreads at Hoffman's base earlier in the game, actually made her first appearance in the books, and she has a history with both Marcus and Dom. They're pretty good reads regardless. Might be a little early to suggest another game series now, but have you ever played any of the Bioshock games? Would be pretty fun to see how you handle yourself in those games. In the meantime, I'm looking forward to more Gears content!

You lead around cute little creatures with different abilities, fight enemy beasts, and collect stuff, kind of like a colony of ants. There's not a whole lot in terms of deep lore, but the games are really fun.

They don't add anything to the story and they are both have very little story to begin with.. just watch the cutscenes if you're interested..
