Barry's birthday is also he and Linda's Anniversary. They married in 1970. He always had his family with him touring. Please react to Michael Jackson and Barry Gibb All In Your Name. They were great friends. BeeGees younger brother Andy Gibb had a solo career. Talk about a heart throb. See his Midnight Special performances singing I Just Wanna Be Your Everything. His first three single releases hit number one. Another great one is 100 Top 10 Hits written by the BeeGees. Here's some you will love also. Living Eyes. Kiss Of Life. And The Sun Will Shine. You Win Again. I Can't See Nobody. Bodyguard. When He's Gone. Wedding Day. Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow. (They didn't write this one) Mr Natural. For Whom The Bell Tolls. (About their brother Andy and Victoria Principle. Their very public relationship and break up) Andy was born the year the BeeGees were established. That's why he started solo. He and Barry were so much alike. Even identical birthmarks. You should hear Barry singing Words when they were young and Andy singing Words at Reagan's Inauguration Dinner. The similarities are crazy. None of them could read music which makes them even more amazing. The first part of 1988 they announced Andy would be joining the BeeGees as a permanent member but Andy tragically passed away on March 10, 1988. Just 5 days after his 30th birthday. The World was heartbroken. I'm 60 and I still cry. Every song they wrote is as great as the one before it. Five decades and around 40 albums. Check out Barry's duets with Barbara Streisand. He wrote and produced her album Guilty. The video The making of the song Tragedy tells a lot about how they create their songs. Truly amazing and if you ever watch any of their interviews they could have been comedians. They are so funny. Enjoy this wonderful BeeGees adventure.

You reacted to Olivia Newton John singing Sam. She recorded a song by the BeeGees called Come On Over. Andy Gibb and her hosted Solid Gold and did several duets together and she and Barry did a duet of one of songs they wrote called Islands In The Stream. More Olivia songs, I Honestly Love You. Please Mister Please. Have You Never Been Mello. Xanadu. Let's Get Physical. Also Michael Jackson and Barry Gibb recorded together a song called, All In Your Name.

I love everything Bee Gees. At whatever ages they were fantastic. Not only is it Barry’s 77 birthday but it’s also his 53rd Wedding Anniversary to his one and only love, his beautiful wife Linda. He is known as a faithful husband ad a fantastic father to his five children. Happy Birthday and Happy Anniversary Barry. Please react to a beautiful R&B Bee Gees song LOVE YOU INSIDE OUT, thank you. You have a very joyful way of reacting, love to see that. ❤❤❤

Their folks discovered when they were 8 and 5 they could sing in perfect three part harmony. They started performing when they were 9 and 6. The BeeGees were established in 1958. Same year their brother Andy Gibb was born. He was amazing too. Check out Midnight Special Andy Gibb singing I Just Wanna Be Your Everything.

Barry wrote that song. They were little criminals in England before they made a decision still as little kids to not steal another thing and follow their dreams. Barry said he was going to be a pop star then the twins asked if they could be one too.

Great reaction. Yes, our precious guys were quite young here. I'd love for you to react to "Wine and Women " from 1965, only two years later, but did they do some growing up in those two short years! Wait until you you hear Robin's voice when he takes the lead! OMG is all that I can say! Please react to it soon, pretty please? And, yes, Happy Birthday to Barry today and Happy Anniversary to Barry and Linda as well. ❤️

Happy Birthday Barry Gibb !!! The most handsome man I've ever seen. Dwight Yoakum, and Kevin Costner were both my dream come true loves ❤️. Then, as I started watching music reactions and seeing The Bee Gees, and I said what in the world was I thinking?? Barry out does every man I've ever seen! Yes, I know he's married to his lovely wife Linda. 😍 I'm not looking at Barry in that way, just appreciating one man that's displaying what beauty should look like. Whoo-Hoo 🎉

They started performing as the Bee Gees in 1958. This song was written by Barry who was 17/18. So talented. Happy 77th birthday Barry and Happy 53rd anniversary Barry and Linda. ❤

I asked around recently and so many people didn't know the Bee Gees even had a career outside the disco era, let alone that they were active from 1958-2001. Their catalogue is a great cross-section of 4 decades of (really great) pop music -enjoy your dive!

Weren't they something?? That's a Barry -written song (He was writing since a pre-teen.) They fully supported their parents and baby brother Andy, sister Leslie, by this time. They were very poor, but grew up with very loving and supportive parents. FAMILY FIRST all their lives.

It was the fifties!!!!!! They like everyone else were inspired by the Everly Brothers’ harmonies. Check out “ Cathy’s Clown” by the Everly’s. 😊

This performance was in the 60's but lots of influences from the 50's and even earlier. They loved the Mills Brothers harmonies from the 40's that their dad used to play.

Mee Gee reacting to The Bee Gees ALL week …❤️that song reminds me of watching an old 1950’s Dance movie vibe(like Grease did in the 1970’s)🍿 …love it ❤🙏🏻

Robin was a real ham early on and always sought out the camera but he became withdrawn later, particularly after he was almost killed in a train crash when he was only 17. He had to pull out mangled and dying victims and assist in on the spot amputations to free trapped victims. Barry said he changed from a joyous, hilarious boy to a solemn and moody young man. He admitted himself the horror never left him all of his life. PTSD.

Story goes that 14 year old Barry told a girl who broke up with him that she would be sorry because they were going to be famous one day. In his later days when asked if he really believed it, he said yes. He knew. Thanks for doing these reactions. Their live performance of DON’T SAY GOODBYE shows them maturing, but still young, and WINE AND WOMEN is not to be missed!

@@paulr6881 It's definitely my favorite Words performance of his! Not sure if you caught right before he starts to sing (& after taking a big drink of water!) when he accidentally burps into the mike....& someone in the audience calls him out for it! He's soooo embarrassed & shakes his head like oh no, & says "yep, that was me...that was me"!🤣I'm sure he wanted to crawl (or walk!) away!!😂😆

There's the insoluble mystery of "is it a guitar or a pizzicato violin playing the hook?" but that's all this has going for it, Even if the Gibbs didn't sound so much like the voices of Alvin & The Chipmunks, this song sounds - horribly - like something out of 1954, not 1964. In fact recently a critic pointed to it as a painful example of "can you believe people were still doing that kind of thing in the '60s?!""
