Eveything he does comes from his heart. Have seen him 2 times on stage, it's mindblowing and he's the nicest guy you can imagine. Greetings from Bavaria/Germany

I highly suggest listening to his version of this sung with Gugu Zula. One of the most amazing things I've ever listened too.

That's how I first heard this song and it was jaw dropping. Anytime one can get a chance to listen to Calum Scott sing live it is special occasion. And when he partners with someone he cranks up the energy, yet still manages gives his partner more than enough room to show their talent.

Thanks Nick! I agree with what you said about the "curvature and roundness" of his notes. I don't know the technical term, but those "drops" are one of the things I love most about his singing: 'The "ooh, oh" you mentioned, along with how he sings "edge" earlier in the song, and "every sunny day was grey-ey" (from "No Matter What"). BTW, I also want to thank you for really introducing me to Calum -- I saw his BGT audition a while ago, but hadn't heard much else until I saw your reactions.

Love your reactions! So... This song hits me so hard. My mom received her terminal glioblastoma diagnosis very shortly after my birth. She made the decision to be at home with me, my brother & dad for whatever time she had left as back then young children were not allowed to visit the hospital. Thankfully between my dad's side of the family & hers, we had the ability to keep her at home throughout. I got a total of 18 months with her, my brother was 3 years old when she passed peacefully away at home with us at age 28. She rose to the occasion no matter how much she didn't want to leave us. She really only expressed her anger once 7 days before she passed away. She was in & out of consciousness & a fever had set in & my grandma was stroking her back with a cool washcloth when she grabbed her bar to pull herself up & started angry sobbing that she didn't want to leave us. That literally was the only time she ever let that out. Through all the pain, loss of function & indignities that come along with terminal brain cancer, she kept her sense of humor, her joy in every moment of those 18 months she had with my brother & I, she was always grateful for all the help & comfort our family provided.

Are you serious you hadn't listen to this song until a few hours ago? I don't know how many of his songs you have reacted to or listened to... but I recommend you to check all of them. "Run With Me" is one of my favorite. Along with some that I know you have already listenend to (No matter what, etc.) "Hotel Room", "If Our Love Is Wrong", "Flaws", "Bridges", "What I miss most", "She's Like The Wind"(cover), "Rhythm Inside", "When We Were Young" (cover) and I recommend you to watch a series of performances recorded at Abbey Road under the name "1 mic 1 take". Here's one that I really like: kzbin.info/www/bejne/a4imaKBnl9Z5mMk.
