If you go to Cornwall again I highly recommend going to Tintagel Castle and Merlins Cave, the views up there are UNREAL. We also found this beautiful place that isn’t really well known called Rocky Valley, you have to walk through some woods but then it opens up to this wonderful cove type place, it felt so magical 🥰 we stayed in a cute pub called Woottons Inn, I would definitely go back x

When you were sitting by the parking lot in Lizard talking about the big walk down the coastline you were about to do and I could see the ice cream place in the background, thinking “I hope they get some ice cream when they finish” and you guys did! Lol Your trip and inthefrow’s trip to Cornwall really make we want to visit there the next time I’m in the UK! BTW I live about an hour and a half from where The Goonies was filmed!

Looks like you both had a lovely time and thank you for taking us with you. My sister and her partner had a long weekend in St. Ives and Plymouth last weekend, they said it was lovely though very hilly 😹😹 I went to Lands End many years ago, I don't remember if there was a sign there or not, lol. That was bad that they changed you to go in the area when the sign was down and everything was closing, they should have said before you paid really. They take the Lands End sign down cuz you have to pay the photography company about £10 for a photo with the actual sign that they will email/post to you! We were proper pissed off about that so managed to get a sneaky photo from the other side of the barrier in between people getting photos taken 🤣👍🏼

If you go again, definitely stay near newquay or perranporth, go to the watering hole on perranporth beach, go to st nectans glen and mevaguissy, looe or polperro. You wont regret it!

So excited for my Cornwall holiday this week after seeing this! Glad you had a fab time, shame about Lands End though. Quick question, aside from the sign thing is it worth going? I've been told its been bought by a caravan company and there's just a load of static caravans dotted about and aside from the (sometimes non-existent 😅) sign and a few shops its not that startling? Its a long way from where we're staying so if its not worth the trek I'd rather not go! X

I’ve lived in Cornwall all my life and never been, partly to do with the fact I’m at the opposite end of Cornwall but also because I’ve been told it’s not that spectacular that it’s worth making a long trip unless you are really wanting to see it😅 it’s a cool concept of being at the end of the country, but there are much better and more beautiful places in Cornwall worth seeing. Hope that helps xx

St Ives is my happy place. Been going since I was a literal fetus (my mum was 5 months pregnant and nearly popped me out the womb falling in the sea). My parents went for their honey moon, my sister got married there. I went in June/July this year and stopped above the Rum and Crab Shack on the harbour, cheaper than you’d think for location, and it was blissful ❤️ Counting down the days until next July for a big family holiday for my sisters 50th now! Also recommend Ayr campsite, overlooks Porthmeor beach 😍

How bizarre about the Lands End sign! My husband and I stayed there at the lands end hotel (right on the edge of the cliff) last July for our minimoon and we could see the sign out of our window. I swear I never saw anyone come and take it away the whole time we were there. 🤔 How weird!! Cornwall is beautiful though, and it looks like you had a lovely time. If you ever go again, the waterfall at St Nectan's Glen is beautiful. 👌 A bit of a trek, but worth it. 😊👍 Xxx
