Dangerous women will forever be that girl. So many people sleep on this album after TUN (which is THAT album) and sweetener. But dangerous women I feel like gets pushed aside now days and she will forever be my number 2 out of my top 3 albums. This album really cemented her place in the pop world and had a lot of Ariana’s first experimental sounds like knew better, sometimes, I don’t care, and step on up (on the Japanese version)

I feel the same way! Dangerous Woman gets slept on, but it's a no skip album to me. I have Eternal Sunshine and Positions as my top 2, but I can never decide between DW, Sweetener, and TUN. I think DW is just as good as Sweetener and TUN.

@@shadowless2109personally positions is one of the lower ranked albums for me. I really appreciate songs like My hair, positions, POV. But overall I just don’t think It’s that good of an album. It just seems like her mind was elsewhere when making it. I was expecting a lot more from it after having Sweetener, and TUN. It’s not a bad album but it doesn’t rank nearly as well. My ranking goes TuN, DW, sweetener/eternal sunshine(it fluctuates between 3rd and 4th) My Everything, positions, Yours truly.

@@shadowless2109 that’s also fair. It’s a pretty common stereotype for the sophomore album to be rough around the edges since the first album is usually really good as an intro to the artist. I remember when positions first came out and I was shocked and really let down but then it started to grow on me. Like if a song comes on I won’t skip it but I find myself going and actively playing songs from other albums.

Nothing will ever compare to the feeling that came when this album rolled out. It was during the coming of age for many of us, and in the prime of 2010s EDM pop. Everything from the singles to the tour, the way it broke the internet before "breaking the internet" was even a widely-used term. The universal excitement all of the fans felt is something I will never forget!! My fav album from her for sure!

I JUST KNEW YOUD LOVE THIS ALBUM !! Just a lil context moonlight was written during her honeymoon tour (yours truly x my everything) and was about her current boyfriend Ricky and was going to be the album title but she went for dangerous woman so that she can try and officially leave the Nickelodeon lifestyle behind and be taken seriously as an artist. You should definitely listen to knew better pt 2 along with leave me lonely (both were only on tour so will be found on Soundcloud or KZbin) and definitely should listen to step on up and Jasons song (about her manager Scooter Braun). As always LOVED your energy and reactions and Im so happy you're enjoying your Ariana journey :)

Into you and dangerous woman were played on the radio soooo much in 2016 (when I was in my sophomore year of high school) and even towards 2017 those two singles from the album stayed on the Hot 100s Billhoard for a soliiid moment in time :)) but as time passed ppl forget the biggest hits I suppose but this album is a COMPLETE 1000% BOP thru and thru. Changed her life too. For better and worse. But even in her newest album Eternal Sunshine ☀️ she makes nods and references to her previous work, her art and talent are SO iconic .
