You should check out "sorry sorry answer" is a RnB heavy vocal version of "sorry sorry" and they sing it with Yoo Young Jin ( one of the vocal coach at SM who only train specific people like EXO's D.O, aespa's Winter and TVXQ Changmin. He is the voice singing at the beginning of Mr. Simple.) Super Junior have a Holly trinity of vocals KRY, Yesung, Ryeowook, and Kyuhyun. They are the first subunit that ever happened in kpop. Their vocals can only compare against EXO's Holly trinity BaekHyun, Chen and D.O.

These 3 songs were really capitalizing on the autotune trend back then along with catchy earworm choruses. They really blew up with Sorry Sorry and maintained their massive popularity up till Mr Simple era (2009 to 2012). So glad they decided to break away and really experiment with their genres after that. Listening to Sorry Sorry, Mr Simple and Bonamana in one sitting is probably something best done when you're already a fan and love the songs. It would maybe have been better to break them up with other songs. That much autotune can be a bit overwhelming for new people. When they sing Bonamana live they usually do the rock version rather than the electronic version. Super Junior tend to mix their songs up live and do different versions. Also, it's worth remembering that these songs weren't all released together. The albums they come from are actually quite diverse.

super junior have tried all kinds of genres and styles over the years. if you want a more classy/polished feel from them id recommend 'this is love,' 'evanesce,' and 'blacksuit.' if you want a latin style id recommend 'lo siento' and 'one more time.' of course all their title tracks and mvs are great tho. 'its you' is my personal favorite title track from them

Collectively, these songs comprise the SJ Funky trilogy era (Sorry Sorry, Bonamana, Mr Simple), that is how SM classified that genre of music, the classic suju sound. You can see that funkiness in House Party cos that has been like their trademark suju sound. Following the success of Sorry Sorry, they rode that trend to their next songs and finally culminating with Mr. Simple (look up the lyrics of Mr. Simple, it actually has a great message). Then after that, they started to deviate from that sound and explore other styles

Funny you mention a "Sorry Sorry" dance challenge nowadays, because it actually is! The song is different, but it uses the same choreography, and it was all over tik tok a couple months ago.

The shifting of genre on House Party only proves the versatility of Super Junior and also to give a part on Heechul since he can’t do heavy dancing due to a leg injury from an accident way back in the mid 2000s. Thank you for reacting to our last men standing 😊

SuperJunior is really SuperMan... Everything SM tested in SuperJunior : It worked... Now it's not strange to see a kpop group with more than 6 members, having foreign members, having sub units, solos, actors, Label and more...I'm still waiting for what SUJU will do to complete all the records...

at first, super junior had 12 members, then kyuhyun join the group after 6 months and became a group with 13 members. a year or 2 years later, they have 2 members (Henry Lau and Zhoumi) for the sub unit called super junior-M (mandarin). actually sorry sorry is the last album they have with all 13 members, after that 2 members went on hiatus and then left the company, so in bonamana, there are only 11 members, and in Mr. simple 1 members went to the military service and they're promoting with 10 members.

Maybe I'm just getting old or too old but I would prefer MVs like this where it's just the idol singing and dancing together than all the foolishness we have today. I don't need all the craziness in the background I just think it's to distracting you feom the talent that isn't there. Love this! Suju have been a fave of mine since 2010 - they are amazing performers and totally crazy! If you want a variety of music styles you could look at Devil, Black Suit, Burn the Floor, and maybe a ballad like Callin' or No Other. Or go oldschool and do "U" or "Rokkugo!"

Among those OG autotune songs my personal fav is BONAMANA. I do like the rest too, but at the point of melody line I love BONAMANA the most. I can totally understand your point of sorrysorry 2.0, but since they had different melody line, and the one in BONAMANA is right on my spot (and the meanings of the lyrics suit it so well), BONAMANA really stands out to me. Also I like this type of song from them a lot, so instead of comparing between the songs I just put them in one playlist and enjoy listening all of them when I feel like. I mean, they ARE different songs after all. XD And since Mr.Simple they began to include the sound of the dancing movements(also the footsteps)(for M/V only) which quite suit my ears. :) Oh, and fun facts: Before SorrySorry, SJ released some rock taste songs like ''Don't Don'' and their debut song (before Kyuhyun joined in) ''Twins'' , and some great dance music like ''U'' and ''It's you'', which I think you might be interested in.

Super Junior has 13 members when 1st debuted but then more less and less now only 9 members. The songs you choose only have 10 members, 2 members left the group, 1 went to army. In House Party is 9 members. But on stage only 8 members cause Kim Heechul can't join on stage cause of his injury with his leg. Heechul's doctor not allow him moves (dance)
