MY FIRST TIME ON AN AMBASSADOR CRUISE

Welcome to the 1st vlog in my new cruise series where I spent 2 night onboard Ambassador Cruise Line’s Ambition!

Did the Norwegian fjords from Dundee on Ambition in June. Absolutely brilliant in all aspects entertainment team exceptional, seen worse on broadway. Love ambassador .

Very informative and helpful video. We saw the same theatre show onboard last night and really enjoyed it! Totally agree also with how friendly and welcoming the staff were 😃 We lovvvveee a silent disco and a good old gameshow!!

Cant beat a small ship cruise. I have done 5 cruises with Azamara and love it because it is small. I have done Virgin Voyages Resilliant Lady in September, and although a gorgeous ship, it's just too big for me. Your vlog was so interesting as I have recently been looking at Ambassador Cruises for a cruise next summer. Thank you for a very interesting insight!

This is the first time I am watching one of your videos. To the buffett, very good. Love to eat. Like vegetarian and vegan food. Do like some meat. Pasta is very good. Some fish is better than others. The bread station looks good. Like desserts also. Is there good scenery in Tilbury? Seems very windy there. Prefer indoors on a ship most times. Like afternoon tea. And I'm not British. When you drink wine you should hold your wine glass by the stem. That way you do not warm your wine. Table tennis, love to play. No cruise line has a midnight buffett anymore. Only on certain cruises, usually longer cruises. Ambassador Cruises doesn't have a casino. I like pizza. Vegetable Spring Roll looks good. The Tofu and Vegetable Chow Main looks good also. Several desserts look good. Didn't know the Purple Turtle was a Wine Bar. Not a big fan of canapes. After the show I would normally go to the casino. Have you been on many cruises? Which cruise lines are your favorites? New subscriber.

Thanks for your comment! Tilbury isn’t very scenic but there is a Fort nearby ☺️ Thank you for the tip about the wine glass! I think my favourite line so far is Celebrity, Ambassador coming a very close second!

@@Travellifewithlucy My late wife and I have taken many cruises on Celebrity. Haven't been on them in years. They don't like solo cruisers. Since my wife passed away I've been solo on everything I do.

Thank you for your assessment of Ambition. My wife and I are sailing on her from Dundee for a 12-night cruise at the end of August. This will be our first cruise - hopefully not our only. Thanks also for focusing on the food available; I’m coeliac so it was reassuring to see a good spread of gluten free food. Do you have to book to see the shows in the theatre? Kind regards.

We have thought about Ambassador in the past. Nice for a taster cruise I think, but we do like our entertainment. 👍👋

We did 11 nights on the other Ambassador ship (Ambience) earlier in 2023 and the entertainment was amazing! More production shows than we’ve seen with anyone else, live music in all the bars and a group of actors on boards that were doing full plays and shorter vignettes/sketches on sea days. Definitely a plus on Ambassador for us.
